If a Man Divorces or Dies and There Is Property in the House, What Is the Ruling?

٢٠٢٦٣ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: نا عبد الوهاب (الثقفي) (١) عن ايوب قال: ⦗٤٦٥⦘ (كتبت) (٢) إلى ابي قلابة اساله عن الرجل يحدث البيت في متاع المراة (٣)، لمن هو؟ قال: هو له ما لم يعطها.
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) سقط من: [أ، ب، جـ، س، ز، ط، ك].
(٢) في [س]: (كنت).
(٣) أي يبني بيت شعر أو خيمة في بيت الزوجية، وفي [ع]: زيادة (ثم يموت)، ولا محل لها.
Ayub (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I wrote a letter to Hazrat Abu Qilabah (may Allah have mercy on him) in which I asked him: A man furnished a room with a woman's belongings, then he died, so whose property will the belongings be? He replied that it will remain the man's property until he gives it to the woman.
