If Someone Buys Something Without Seeing It, He Has the Option to Keep or Return It According to Some Scholars

٢١١٦٧ - حدثنا إسماعيل عن ابي بكر بن عبد الله عن مكحول رفعه قال: إذا اشترى الرجل (الشيء) (١) (ولم) (٢) ينظر إليه غائبا عنه فهو بالخيار إذ انظر إليه؛ إن شاء اخذ (وإن) (٣) شاء ترك (٤).

(٤) مرسل فيه ضعف؛ مكحول تابعي، وأبو بكر فيه ضعف.
It is narrated from Hazrat Mak'hool that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: When a person buys something in such a way that he has not seen it and the item is absent from him, then after seeing it, he has the choice to take it if he wishes, and if he wishes, he may leave it.
