٢٤٤٦٤ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال: (حدثنا) (١) (حماد) (٢) بن سلمة عن قتادة ان ابا موسى الاشعري قال: لا ينبغي لقاض ان يقضي حتى يتبين له الحق كما يتبين (الليل) (٣) من النهار، قال: فبلغ ذلك عمر فقال: صدق ابو موسى (٤).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) في [جـ]: (أخبرنا).
(٢) سقط من: [ط].
(٣) في [هـ]: (الليل).
(٤) منقطع؛ قتادة لا يروي عن أبي موسى ولا عمر.
Hazrat Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) says that it is not appropriate for a judge to pass a verdict until the truth becomes as clear to him as the night is distinct from the day. When this statement reached Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) has spoken the truth.
