٢٥٥٩٦ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد الرحيم (عن) (١) اشعث عن ثابت (ابن) (٢) عبيد قال: كان ابو مسعود الانصاري يامر اهله بقطع (المذنب) (٣) من البسر، فينبذ كل واحد منهما على حدة (٤).

(٢) في [أ، ح، ز، ط]: (بن).
(٣) في [ط]: (الذنب).
(٤) ضعيف؛ لضعف أشعث.
It is narrated from Hazrat Thabit bin Ubaid, he says that Hazrat Abu Masood Ansari used to instruct his family members to separate the semi-ripe dates from the fully ripe (tail-end) dates, and then they would make a separate nabidh (date drink) from each type of date.
