٢٧٠٠٩ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن الزهري عن عطاء بن (يزيد) (١) عن ابي ايوب عن النبي ﷺ (قال) (٢):"لا يحل لمسلم (ان) (٣) يهجر اخاه فوق ثلاث، يلتقيان (يصد) (٤) هذا ويصد هذا، (و) (٥) خيرهما الذي يبدا بالسلام" (٦).

(٦) صحيح؛ أخرجه البخاري (٦٢٣٧)، ومسلم (٢٥٦٠).
Hazrat Abu Ayyub Ansari narrates that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is not permissible for a Muslim to sever relations with his brother for more than three days. When the two meet, one turns away from the other and the other turns away from him, and the better of the two is the one who initiates the greeting of peace.
