Regarding Those Who Say That a Child Born to a Woman While She Is Married to a Slave—The Wala' Is for Her Mawali

٣٣٧٠٥ - حدثنا ابن علية عن ابن عون عن الحسن كان يقول: إذا اعتق الرجل واعتق ابنه رجل آخر جر ولاء (ابنه) (١)، فاتاه محمد بن سيرين فقال: عمر يقول هذا قال: نحن نقوله (٢).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) في [أ، ب، هـ]: (أبيه).
(٢) منقطع؛ ابن سيرين لا يروي عن عمر.
Ibn Aun narrates that Hasan used to say that when a man is set free and his son is set free by another man, then he (the father) draws back the wala’ (right of allegiance) of his son. So Muhammad bin Sirin came to them and asked,“Did Umar say this?”He replied,“This is what we say.”
