Some Opinions Regarding Captivity and Close Relatives in the Pre-Islamic Era

٣٤٨١٣ - حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن زكريا بن ابي زائدة عن جابر عن عامر قال: قضى رسول الله ﷺ (في) (١) سبي الجاهلية في الغلام ثمانيا من الإبل، وفي المراة عشرا من الإبل، او غرة عبد او امة (٢).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) في [جـ]: (سا).
(٢) مرسل ضعيف؛ جابر هو الجعفي ضعيف، وعامر هو الشعبي تابعي.
Hazrat Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave a ruling regarding the captives of the pre-Islamic era: for a child, eight camels; and for a woman, ten camels or one ghurra. Ghurra means a male or female slave.
