It is narrated from Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Muslimah, may Allah have mercy on him, that a man granted protection (asylum) to some people, and he was with Hazrat Amr bin Aas, Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed, and Hazrat Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah, may Allah be pleased with them. Hazrat Amr and Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed, may Allah be pleased with them, said: We will not grant protection to those whom he grants protection. Hazrat Abu Ubaidah bin Jarrah, may Allah be pleased with him, said: I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم say: Whoever among the Muslims grants protection to someone, protection will be granted to him.
