It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Darda that the people of Hell will be afflicted with hunger, then they will seek help, they will be helped with dari' (a bitter thorny plant), which will neither fill their stomachs nor make them healthy. Then they will seek help again, they will be helped with food that causes choking (which gets stuck in the throat). Then they will remember that they used to remove things stuck in the throat with a drink, so they will ask for it, then boiling hot water in iron vessels will be presented to them. When they bring it near, it will burn their faces, and when they drink it, it will cut apart all the organs of their stomachs. Then they will cry out: "Call upon your Lord that He may lighten this day of the punishment from us." and it will be answered to them: "Did not your Messengers come to you with clear proofs?" They will say: "Yes." It will be said: "Then call, but the call of the disbelievers is only in error." Then they will say, "Call upon Malik," and it will be said { یَا مَالِکُ لِیَقْضِ عَلَیْنَا رَبُّک } Malik will answer them: "Indeed, you will remain [here] ." Then they will say, "Call upon your Lord, for surely no one is more merciful than your Lord." Then they will say: "Our Lord, take us out of it. And if we should return [to sin] , then indeed, we are wrongdoers." and it will be answered to them: "Be gone therein and speak not to Me." Then they will be seized by destruction, ruin, and wailing.
