It is narrated from Hazrat Ubaid bin Abdul Malik. He says that the person who saw Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz standing at the place of Arafah told me, and he (Umar bin Abdul Aziz), may Allah have mercy on him, was making supplication. And he was gesturing with his finger like this: O Allah! Increase the goodness of the one who does good to the Ummah of Muhammad ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ), and turn the one who does evil to the Ummah of Muhammad ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) towards repentance. Then he, may Allah have mercy on him, moved his finger. O Allah! And encompass them from behind with Your mercy.
