Hadiths Regarding the Death of the Prophet (ﷺ)

٣٩٨٠٢ - حدثنا حفص عن جعفر عن ابيه قال: لم يؤم على النبي ﷺ إمام وكانوا يدخلون افواجا يصلون (١) ويخرجون (٢).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) في [أ، ب]: زيادة (عليه).
(٢) مرسل؛ أبو جعفر ليس صحابيًا، أخرجه ابن سعد ٢/ ٢٩١، وابن الجوزي في المنتظم ٤/ ٤٧.
Hazrat Ja'far narrates from his father that no imam led the funeral prayer of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Rather, people would enter (the chamber) in groups, offer the funeral prayer over the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and then leave.
