٤٠٥٦٥ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن شريك عن ابي (العنبس) (١) عن ابي البختري قال: سئل علي عن اهل الجمل قال: (قيل) (٢) امشركون هم؟ قال: من الشرك فروا، قيل امنافقون هم؟ قال: إن المنافقين لا يذكرون الله إلا قليلا، قيل: فما هم؟ قال: إخواننا بغوا علينا (٣).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) في [أ، ب]: (العيش)، وفي [ص]: (العنبر).
(٢) في [ع]: (فتل).
(٣) منقطع؛ أبو البختري لا يروي عن علي، أخرجه البيهقي ٨/ ١٧٣، وبنحوه عبد الرزاق (١٨٦٥٦)، والمروزي في تعظيم قدر الصلاة (٥٩٢)، وابن عساكر ١/ ٣٤٥.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Bakhtari that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about the people of Jamal. It is said that he was asked, "Were they polytheists?" Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) replied, "No! They had fled from polytheism." Then it was asked, "Were they hypocrites?" He replied, "No, hypocrites remember Allah only a little." Then it was asked, "Then who were they?" Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) replied, "They were our brothers who rebelled against us."
