(Second chain) Awsat bin Amr says: Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) addressed us and said: Last year, Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) stood in this very place of mine. Saying this, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) began to weep. Then he said: Ask Allah Almighty for well-being. Then he mentioned as in the previous hadith and further said: Do not envy one another, do not bear malice towards one another, do not sever ties of kinship, do not adopt mutual estrangement and enmity, and remain brothers to one another, as Allah Almighty has commanded you.
