باب من قدر على القيام بمشقة فى الفرض أو النفل وصلى قاعدا فصلاته على النصف من صلاة القائم
Chapter on One Able to Stand with Difficulty in Obligatory or Voluntary Prayer, but Prays Seated—His Prayer Is Half That of the Standing
Hadith Number: 2426
(وعنه ايضا) قال: خرج رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم على ناس وهم يصلون قعودا من مرض، فقال: ((إن صلاة القاعد على النصف من صلاة القائم))
And it is narrated from them that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came to the people while they were performing prayer sitting due to illness. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The one who performs prayer sitting will receive half the reward compared to the one who performs prayer standing.
