Chapter on What Is Said in the Morning and Evening and When Intending to Sleep
Hadith Number: 5488
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever, after performing the Fajr prayer, recites this supplication ten times: LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAHU WAHDAHU LAA AREEKA LAHU, LAHUL-MULKU WA LAHUL-HAMDU WA HUWA ‘ALAA KULLI AY’IN QADE . He will receive the reward equal to freeing four slaves, ten good deeds will be written for him, ten of his sins will be erased, his ten ranks will be elevated, these words will serve as a protection from Satan for him until the evening, and if he recites them ten times after Maghrib, he will attain the same virtue.
