Issues of Usurpation
باب النهي عن جده وهزله ووعيد من اختصب مال أخيه
Chapter: Prohibition of taking property unjustly, whether in jest or seriousness, and the warning to one who seizes his brother’s wealth
Hadith Number: 6189
عن عبد الله رضي الله عنه قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم من اقتطع مال امرئ مسلم بغير حق لقي الله عز وجل وهو عليه غضبان
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever seizes the wealth of a Muslim without right will meet Allah the Exalted in such a state that He will be angry with him.
