Explanation of the Etiquettes of Gatherings
باب ما جاء فى خير المجالس وشرها
Chapter on what has been narrated regarding the best and worst of gatherings
Hadith Number: 9494
عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال ما قعد قوم مقعدا لا يذكرون الله عز وجل ويصلون على النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم إلا كان عليهم حسرة يوم القيامة وإن دخلوا الجنة للثواب
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Those people who sit in a gathering and neither remember Allah Almighty nor send blessings upon the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that gathering will be a cause of regret for them on the Day of Resurrection, even if they enter Paradise due to other deeds.
