Explanation of the Etiquettes of Gatherings
باب ما جاء فى خير المجالس وشرها
Chapter on what has been narrated regarding the best and worst of gatherings
Hadith Number: 9495
وعنه ايضا ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال ما اجتمع قوم ثم تفرقوا لم يذكروا الله كانما تفرقوا عن جيفة حمار
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When people gather somewhere and then disperse without remembering Allah Almighty, they will be like those who got up from beside a dead donkey.
