باب: هل يوصي الرجل من ماله بأكثر من الثلث
Chapter: Can a man bequeath more than a third of his wealth?
Hadith Number: 361
نا ابو معاوية، قال: نا الاعمش، عن مسلم بن صبيح، عن مسروق، قال: حضر رجلا يوصي , فاوصى باشياء لا ينبغي، فقال له مسروق: " إن الله قسم بينكم فاحسن القسم، وإنه من يرغب برايه عن راي الله يضل، فاوص لذي قرابتك ممن لا يرثك، ثم دع المال على ما قسمه الله عليه" .
Masruq (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "A man was making a will and began to bequeath things that were not appropriate, so indeed Allah has made the best division among you, and whoever leaves Allah's division and follows his own opinion goes astray. You should make a will for those who are not your heirs, then leave the wealth according to Allah's division."
