First Part of Musnad of the Basrans
حَدِيثُ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُمَا
Hadith of Bahz ibn Hakim from his father from his grandfather (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith Number: 20046
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد ، عن بهز بن حكيم ، حدثني ابي ، عن جدي ، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " ويل للذي يحدث فيكذب ليضحك به القوم، ويل له، ويل له" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Muawiyah Bahzi (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Woe to the person who tells lies to make people laugh. Woe to him, woe to him."

Hadith Number: 20047
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد ، عن بهز بن حكيم ، حدثني ابي ، عن جدي ، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " لا ياتي رجل مولى له يساله من فضل عنده فيمنعه، إلا دعي له يوم القيامة شجاع يتلمظ، فضله الذي منع" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: If a person’s paternal cousin asks him for an extra share of his wealth and he does not give it to him, then on the Day of Resurrection he will be turned into a bald snake which will chew up his extra share.

Hadith Number: 20048
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد ، حدثنا بهز ، حدثني ابي ، عن جدي ، قال: قلت: يا رسول الله من ابر؟ قال:" امك" قال: قلت: ثم من؟ قال" امك" قال: قلت: ثم من؟ قال:" امك , ثم اباك، ثم الاقرب فالاقرب" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Muawiyah Bahzi (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I submitted in the court of the Messenger, "O Messenger of Allah! With whom should I do good and show kindness?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "With your mother." I asked the same question three times, and each time the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the same answer. Upon asking the fourth time, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "With your father, then in order of closeness, with your nearest relatives."

Hadith Number: 20049
حدثنا يحيى ، عن بهز ، حدثني ابي ، عن جدي ، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " إنكم وفيتم سبعين امة انتم آخرها واكرمها على الله" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, you will be in the form of a complete seventy nations, and you will be the last nation, and the most honorable in the sight of Allah.

Hadith Number: 20050
حدثنا يحيى ، عن بهز ، حدثني ابي ، عن جدي ، قال: قلت: يا رسول الله، اين تامرني، خر لي؟ فقال بيده نحو الشام، وقال:" إنكم محشورون رجالا وركبانا، وتجرون على وجوهكم" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Where do you command me to go?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "You will all be gathered here (he pointed towards Shaam), some of you will be riding, some will be walking, and some will be dragged on their faces."

Hadith Number: 20051
حدثنا يحيى ، عن بهز ، قال: حدثني ابي ، عن جدي ، قال: قلت: يا رسول الله، إنا قوم نتساءل اموالنا , قال: " يسال احدكم في الجائحة والفتق ليصلح بين قومه، فإذا بلغ او كرب، استعف" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Muawiyah Bahzi (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I submitted in the court of the Messenger, "O Messenger of Allah! We people keep asking each other for wealth." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "A person may demand compensation for a wound or mark in order to reconcile among his people. When he reaches the destination or the hardship remains, he should refrain from asking."

Hadith Number: 20052
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون ، اخبرنا الجريري ، عن حكيم بن معاوية ابي بهز ، عن ابيه ، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " في الجنة بحر اللبن، وبحر الماء، وبحر العسل، وبحر الخمر، ثم تشقق الانهار منها بعده" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Muawiyah Bahzi (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: In Paradise, there will be a sea of milk, a sea of water, a sea of honey, and a sea of wine, from which rivers will gush forth.

Hadith Number: 20053
حدثنا يونس بن محمد ، حدثنا حماد بن سلمة ، عن ابي قزعة الباهلي ، عن حكيم بن معاوية ، عن ابيه , ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " لا يقبل الله توبة عبد اشرك بالله بعد إسلامه" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah does not accept the repentance of the person who, after accepting Islam, falls back into polytheism.

Hadith Number: 20054
حدثنا مكي بن إبراهيم ، اخبرنا بهز بن حكيم ، عن ابيه ، عن جده ، قال: كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا اتي بالشيء سال عنه: " اهدية ام صدقة؟" فإن قالوا: هدية، بسط يده، إن قالوا: صدقة , قال لاصحابه:" خذوا" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when something was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he would ask about it: "Is this a gift or charity?" If people said it was a gift, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would extend his hand towards it, and if people said it was charity, he would say to his companions, "You take it."
