Hazrat Muawiyah bin Qurrah, may Allah have mercy on him, says that there is strong hope from the mercy of Allah Almighty that Allah the Pure will surely grant reward to the one who teaches and disciplines children.

Hazrat Aamir (may Allah have mercy on him) says that the teacher should not set a condition, but if he is given a gift, he should accept it.

Hazrat Ibn Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) says that there was a teacher in Madinah Munawwarah whose students included the children of that great man (the generous one). On Nowruz and Mehregan, they would recognize the right of this teacher.
