On Licking the Fingers

٢٦٠٥٠ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا (ابن) (١) فضيل عن حصين عن مجاهد عن ابن عمر انه كان يلعق اصابعه الثلاث إذا اكل، (وقال) (٢): قال رسول الله ﷺ:"إنه لا يدري في اي طعامه البركة" (٣).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) سقط من: [ز].
(٢) في [ط]: (قال).
(٣) صحيح؛ أخرجه أحمد (٤٥١٤)، والبزار (٢٨٨٥/ كشف).
Hazrat Mujahid narrates about Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that when he finished eating, he would lick his three fingers. And he used to say that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A person does not know in which part of the food there is blessing."
