Hazrat Ibn Tawoos narrates from his father that one hundred camels or their value, with something other than a camel.

Hazrat Sha'bi says that those who own camels will give camels, those who own cows will give cows, those who own goats will give goats, and those who own silver will give silver.

It is narrated from Hasan that Umar and Uthman assessed the value of blood money and handed it over to the one who was to pay; if he wished, he could give camels, and if he wished, he could give the value.

Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz said that if the perpetrator of murder is a Bedouin, his blood money is one hundred camels; a villager will not be obligated to pay in gold and silver, and when a villager kills a villager, his blood money is one hundred camels. So, if the relatives do not possess camels, then its equivalent is two thousand goats.

Ibn Tawus says that my father said: The blood money will be paid according to the price of camels on that day, no matter how high it is, and no matter with which type (goat, cow) it is paid. If the price of camels is higher, and if it is lower, then the price of that type will be paid.

Ibn Jurayj said: I asked Ata, "If a villager wishes, can he give a hundred camels, or two hundred cows, or two thousand goats, and not give gold?" He replied, "If he wishes, he may give camels and not give gold." Ibn Jurayj said: Ata said, "It used to be said: 'Camels are upon those who own camels, cows upon those who own cows, and goats upon those who own goats.'"

28452 - He said: And Ata’ said: It was said: Upon the people of camels (camels) (1), and upon the people of cattle (cattle) (2), and upon the people of sheep (sheep) (3).

Hasan says that those who own cows and goats, if they wish, can also give a camel.

Abu Bakr said that for someone whose blood money is in the form of goats, one camel is equal to twenty goats, and for someone whose blood money is in the form of cows, each camel will be equal to two cows.
