Those Who Say: No Increase in Blood Money for Killing in the Sacred Months or Haram

٢٩٤٢٠ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا (وكيع قال: حدثنا) (١) سفيان بن عيينة عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم قال: دية الذي يقتل في الحرم وغير الحرم سواء.

Hazrat Mughira narrates that Ibrahim said: The blood money (diyat) for a killer is equal both within the boundaries of the Haram and outside the boundaries of the Haram.

Hazrat Jabir narrates that Hazrat Amir said: The blood money (diyah) of both is equal.

٢٩٤٢٢ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا محمد بن بشر قال: حدثنا سعيد (عن) (١) ابي معشر عن إبراهيم قال: إذا قتل في البلد الحرام وفي غير البلد الحرام فالدية واحدة.

Hazrat Saeed bin Abu Ma'shar narrates that Ibrahim said: Whoever commits murder within the boundaries of the Haram or outside the boundaries of the Haram, his blood money will be the same.

٢٩٤٢٣ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا محمد بن بشر قال (١): حدثنا سعيد عن قتادة عن الحسن قال: لا يزاد (على) (٢) دية واحدة -مثل قول إبراهيم-.

Hazrat Qatadah states that Hasan Basri said: No addition will be made to one blood money, similar to the statement of Ibrahim.

٢٩٤٢٤ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن عيينة عن (١) ابن طاوس عن ابيه قال: (تغلظ) (٢) الدية في الشهر الحرام والحرمة (والمحرم) (٣) وفي الجار.

(٣) في (ك): (الحرم).
Hazrat Ibn Tawoos narrates that my father, Hazrat Tawoos, said: Severe blood money will be exacted from one who commits murder in the prohibited months, within the precincts of the Haram, in the state of Ihram, and concerning a neighbor.

٢٩٤٢٥ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا محمد بن بكر عن ابن جريج عن ابن طاوس عن ابيه عن النبي ﷺ قال:"في الجار وفي الشهر الحرام تغليظ" (١).

(١) مرسل؛ طاوس تابعي، أخرجه عبد الرزاق (١٧٢٨٨).
Hazrat Tawoos narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is a severe blood-wit for killing a neighbor and for killing during the sacred months.

٢٩٤٢٦ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا محمد بن بكر عن ابن جريج قال: اخبرني عمرو بن دينار وسليمان الاحول (انهما) (١) سمعا طاوسا يقول: في الحرم والشهر ⦗٢٠٠⦘ الحرام (والجار) (٢) تغليظ.

Hazrat Amr bin Dinar and Sulaiman Ahwal state that Hazrat Tawus said: In the boundaries of the Haram, in the sacred months, and in the killing of a neighbor, there will be severe blood money.

٢٩٤٢٧ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا ابو اسامة عن هشام عن الحسن قال: لا يزاد الذي يقتل في الحرم (على دية الذي يقتل في (الحل) (١) (٢).

Hazrat Hisham states that Hasan Basri said: The blood money (diyah) for someone killed within the boundaries of the Haram should not be increased over the blood money for someone killed in the area outside the Haram.
