Supplication When Touching the Black Stone (Hajar al-Aswad)

٣١٦٠٧ - حدثنا وكيع عن موسى بن عبيدة عن وهب بن وهب عن سعيد بن المسيب عن عمر انه كان يقول إذا استلمه -يعني الحجر-: آمنت بالله وكفرت بالطاغوت (١).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) موضوع؛ وهب وضاع.
Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib narrates that when Hazrat Umar would perform Istilam of the Black Stone, he would recite these words: I have believed in Allah and I have rejected idols.

٣١٦٠٨ - (حدثنا) (١) يزيد بن هارون عن المسعودي عن ابي إسحاق عن الحارث عن علي قال: كان يقول إذا استلم الحجر: اللهم تصديقا بكتابك وسنة نبيك (٢).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) في [ك]: (أخبرنا).
(٢) ضعيف؛ لحال الحارث.
Hazrat Harith narrates that when Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) performed the Istilam of Hajr-e-Aswad, he would recite these words: O Allah! Confirming Your Book and acting upon the Sunnah of Your Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), (I perform Istilam).

٣١٦٠٩ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن عبيد المكتب عن إبراهيم قال: إذا استلمت الحجر فقل: لا إله إلا الله، والله اكبر.
Hazrat Ubaid al-Maktab narrates that Ibrahim said: Whenever you perform Istilam of Hajar al-Aswad, recite these words: There is no deity except Allah and Allah is the Greatest.

٣١٦١٠ - حدثنا معاوية بن هشام عن شريك عن ابي إسحاق عن مجاهد قال: كان يستحب ان يقال عند استلام الحجر: اللهم تصديقا بكتابك وسنة نبيك.
Hazrat Abu Ishaq states that Hazrat Mujahid said: It is recommended that while performing Istilam of Hajar Aswad, one should say: O Allah! While affirming Your Book and acting upon the Sunnah of Your Prophet, (I perform Istilam).
