٣٤٣٨٥ - حدثنا ابن فضيل عن يزيد عن عبد الله بن الحارث قال: حدثني عبد المطلب بن ربيعة بن الحارث بن عبد المطلب ان العباس دخل على رسول الله ﷺ (وانا عنده) (١)، فقال رسول الله ﷺ:"من اغضبك؟" ((قال) (٢): يا رسول) (٣) الله ما لنا ولقريش إذا تلاقوا (تلاقوا) (٤) بوجوه (مبشرة) (٥)، وإذا لقونا (لقونا) (٦) بغير ذلك، قال: فغضب رسول الله ﷺ حتى احمر وجهه، وحتى استدر عرق بين عينيه، وكان إذا غضب استدر فلما سري عنه، قال:"والذي نفس محمد بيده، لا يدخل قلب رجل الإيمان حتى يحبكم لله ولرسوله"، ثم قال:"ايها الناس، من آذى العباس فقد آذاني، إنما عم الرجل صنو ابيه" (٧).

(٧) ضعيف؛ لضعف يزيد بن أبي زياد، أخرجه أحمد (١٧٥١٥)، والترمذي (٣٧٥٨)، والنسائي في الكبرى (٨١٧٦)، والطبراني ٢٠/ (٦٧٢)، والحاكم ٤/ ٧٥، و ٣/ ٣٣٣، وابن شبه في تاريخ المدينة ٢/ ٦٣٩، وابن أبي عاصم في الآحاد (٤٣٩)، والبيهقي في الدلائل ١/ ١٦٨، ويعقوب بن سفيان ١/ ٢٩٥، وابن ماجه (١٤٠).
Hazrat Abdul Mutlib bin Rabee’ah bin Harith bin Abdul Muttalib (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while I was present with him. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Who has angered you?”He (may Allah be pleased with him) replied:“O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! What is it with the people of Quraysh regarding us? When they meet each other, they meet with cheerful faces, but when they meet us, they are not like that.”The narrator says: Upon hearing this, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) became angry, so much so that his face turned red with anger and the vein between his eyes started throbbing. And when he (peace and blessings be upon him) would become angry, this vein would throb. When he (may Allah be pleased with him) left, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“By Him in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), faith will never enter the heart of a person until he loves you people for the sake of Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).”Then he said:“O people! Whoever hurts Hazrat Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), indeed he has hurt me. Surely, a man’s uncle is like his father.”

٣٤٣٨٦ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن داود بن (شابور) (١) عن مجاهد قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ:" (احفظوني) (٢) في العباس فإنه بقية آبائي، وإن عم الرجل صنو ابيه" (٣).

(٣) مرسل؛ مجاهد تابعي، أخرجه عبد الرزاق في التفسير ٢/ ٣٣١، وابن جرير ١٣/ ١٠١، وعبد اللَّه بن أحمد في فضائل الصحابة (١٧٨١)، وورد من حديث مجاهد عن ابن عباس، أخرجه الطبراني (١١١٠٧).
Hazrat Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Take care of my protection regarding Hazrat Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him). For indeed, among my forefathers, only he remains. And indeed, a man’s uncle is like his father.

٣٤٣٨٧ - حدثنا ابن نمير عن سفيان عن ابيه عن ابي الضحى مسلم بن صبيح قال: قال العباس: يا رسول الله إنا لنرى (في) (١) وجوه قوم (٢) وقائع اوقعتها فيهم، فقال النبي ﷺ:"لن (يصيبوا) (٣) خيرا حتى يحبوكم لله ولقرابتي، (ترجوا) (٤) (سلهب) (٥) شفاعتي، ولا يرجوها (بنو) (٦) (عبد) (٧) المطلب" (٨).

(٨) مرسل؛ أبو الضحى تابعي، أخرجه أحمد في فضائل الصحابة (١٧٥٦)، واللالكائي (١٦٨٧)، وورد من حديث أبي الضحى عن ابن عباس، أخرجه الطبراني (١٢٢٢٨)، والخطيب ٦/ ٣١٥، وابن عساكر ٢٦/ ٣٣٧، وابن شبه (١٠٤٩).
Hazrat Abu al-Duha Muslim bin Subaih (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم )! We see unpleasantness on the faces of people. So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: These people will never attain goodness until they love you because of my kinship. O people of Banu Salhab, do you hope for my intercession while the people of Banu Abdul Muttalib do not?

٣٤٣٨٨ - حدثنا عفان قال: ثنا حماد بن سلمة قال: (اخبرنا) (١) ثابت عن ابي عثمان النهدي ان رسول الله ﷺ قال للعباس:"هلم هاهنا فإنك (صنوي) (٢)" (٣).

(٣) مرسل؛ أبو عثمان النهدي تابعي، أخرجه ابن سعد ٤/ ٢٦، وعبد اللَّه بن أحمد في زوائد الفضائل (١٧٥٢).
Hazrat Abu Uthman al-Nahdi (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that indeed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Hazrat Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him): "Come here, indeed you are to me like my father."

٣٤٣٨٩ - حدثنا عبد الرحيم عن زكريا عن عامر قال: انطلق النبي ﷺ ومعه العباس، وكان العباس (ذا) (١) راي فقال النبي ﷺ:"اي عم إذا رايت (لي) (٢) (حظا) (٣) فمرني به" (٤).

(٤) مرسل؛ عامر الشعبي تابعي، أخرجه ابن أبي عاصم في الآحاد (٣٤٩)، وروى بعضه ابن سعد ٤/ ٩، وعبد اللَّه ابن أحمد في زوائد الفضائل (١٨١٦)، والبيهقي في الدلائل ٢/ ٤٥١.
Hazrat Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was going somewhere and Hazrat Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) was also with him. Hazrat Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) noticed something. So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O uncle! Whenever you see any mistake in me, inform me about it.
