٣٤٣٩٠ - حدثنا محمد بن بشر قال: حدثني إسماعيل بن ابي خالد عن شعيب ابن يسار عن عكرمة قال: دعا رسول الله ﷺ ابن عباس فاجلسه في حجره، ومسح على راسه، ودعا له بالعلم (١).

(١) مرسل؛ عكرمة تابعي، أخرجه عبد اللَّه بن أحمد في زوائد الفضائل (١٩١٥)، ويعقوب في المعرفة ١/ ٢٦٧، وابن سعد كما في الإصابة ٤/ ١٤٣، وورد من حديث عكرمة عن ابن عباس، أخرجه ابن أبي عاصم في الآحاد (٣٧٩).
Hazrat Ikrimah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed for blessings for Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both). He seated him in his lap, passed his hand over his head, and prayed for knowledge for him.

٣٤٣٩١ - حدثنا محمد بن بشر قال: ثنا إسماعيل عن شعيب بن يسار قال: جاء طير ابيض، فدخل في كفن ابن عباس حين ادرج ثم ما رئي بعد.
Ismail (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Shu'ayb bin Yasar (may Allah have mercy on him) said: When Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) was placed in the shroud, a white bird came and entered into his shroud, and after that, that bird was never seen again.

٣٤٣٩٢ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن سالم بن ابي حفصة عن رجل يقال له: (كلثوم) (١) قال: سمعت ابن الحنفية يقول في جنازة ابن عباس: اليوم مات رباني العلم.
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) هكذا رواية ابن أبي شيبة: (كلثوم) بدون (أبو) كما في الآحاد والمثاني (٣٨٣)، وعند ابن سعد ٢/ ٣٦٨، وابن أبي حاتم في التفسير (٦٤١١): (أبو كلثوم).
Hazrat Abu Kulthum (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I heard Hazrat Ibn Hanafiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) saying at the funeral of Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them): "Today, a person of complete knowledge has passed away."

٣٤٣٩٣ - حدثنا حفص عن الاعمش عن ابي الضحى عن مسروق قال: قال عبد الله: لو ادرك ابن عباس اسناننا ما عاشره (١) منا رجل (٢).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) أي: لم يبلغ عشر مكانته أحد منا.
(٢) صحيح؛ أخرجه الحاكم ٣/ ٦١٨، والطبري في مسند ابن عباس من تهذيب الآثار (٢٦٨)، والبخاري في التاريخ ٥/ ٤، وابن سعد ٢/ ٣٦٦، وأحمد فضائل الصحابة (١٥٥٩)، والبيهقي في الدلائل ٦/ ١٩٣، وأبو خيثمة في العلم (٤٨)، والحربي ١/ ١٥٢.
Hazrat Masruq (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: If Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) had lived in our time, none of us would have reached even a tenth of his knowledge.

٣٤٣٩٤ - حدثنا جعفر بن عون عن الاعمش عن مسلم عن مسروق قال: قال عبد الله: نعم ترجمان القرآن ابن عباس (١).

(١) صحيح؛ أخرجه الحاكم ٣/ ٦١٨، وابن جرير في مسند ابن عباس (٢٦٨)، والخطيب ١/ ١٧٤، وابن سعد ٢/ ٣٦٦، وأحمد في فضائل الصحابة (١٨٦٣)، والبيهقي في الدلائل ٦/ ١٩٣.
Hazrat Masruq (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) is the best interpreter of the Qur'an.

٣٤٣٩٥ - حدثنا عبد الله بن بكر عن حاتم بن ابي صغيرة عن عمرو بن دينار ان كريبا اخبره عن ابن عباس عن النبي ﷺ قال: دعا لي رسول الله ﷺ ان يزيدني ⦗١٠٨⦘ (الله) (١) علما وفهما (٢).

(٢) صحيح؛ أخرجه أحمد في الفضائل (١٨٥٧) وفي المسند (٣٠٦١)، ويعقوب في المعرفة ١/ ٢٨٣، والآجري في الشريعة (١٧٤٧)، والحاكم ٣/ ٥٣٤، وابن أبي عاصم في الآحاد (٣٧٦)، وأبو نعيم في الحلية ١/ ٣١٥، والخطيب ٩/ ٤٢١، والبيهقي في الشعب (١٥٢٣)، والذهبي في السير ٣/ ٣٣٨.
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed for me, saying: "O Allah, increase him in knowledge and understanding."

٣٤٣٩٦ - حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان (عن زكريا) (١) عن عامر قال: دخل العباس على النبي ﷺ فلم ير عنده احدا فقال له ابنه: لقد رايت عنده رجلا، فقال العباس: يا رسول الله، زعم ابن عمك انه راى عندك رجلا، فقال عبد الله (٢): نعم والذي انزل عليك الكتاب، قال:"ذاك جبريل" (٣).

(٣) مرسل؛ عامر الشعبي تابعي، وأخرجه متصلًا من حديث ابن عباس أحمد (٢٦٧٩)، وابنه (٢٨٤٨)، والطيالسي (٢٧١٨)، وعبد بن حميد (٧١١)، ويعقوب في المعرفة ١/ ٥٢١، والطبراني (١٠٥٨٤)، والبيهقي في دلائل النبوة ٧/ ٧٥.
Hazrat Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Hazrat Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), but he did not see anyone with him, although his son had told him that indeed he had seen a man with him (the Prophet). Upon this, Hazrat Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! Your cousin says that he saw a man with you. Then Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Yes! By Him Who revealed the Book upon you, that was Jibreel (Gabriel).

٣٤٣٩٧ - حدثنا سليمان بن حرب قال: ثنا حماد بن سلمة عن عبد الله بن عثمان بن (خثيم) (١) عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عباس قال: كنت في بيت ميمونة ابنة الحارث، فوضعت لرسول الله ﷺ طهوره فقال:"من وضع هذا؟" فقالت ميمونة: عبد الله، فقال:"اللهم فقهه في الدين، وعلمه التاويل" (٢).

(٢) حسن؛ عبد اللَّه بن عثمان بن خثيم صدوق، أخرجه البخاري (١٤٣)، ومسلم (٢٤٧٧).
Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: I was in the house of Ummul Momineen Hazrat Maymunah bint Al-Harith when I placed water for the ablution of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: Who placed this water? Hazrat Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) replied: Abdullah did. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated: O Allah! Grant him understanding of the religion and teach him the interpretation.

٣٤٣٩٨ - حدثنا ابن إدريس عن عاصم بن كليب عن ابيه عن ابن عباس ان عمر ⦗١٠٩⦘ سال اصحاب رسول الله ﷺ عن شيء قال: فسالني فاخبرته فقال: (اعييتموني) (١) ان تاتوا بمثل (ما اتى به) (٢) هذا الغلام الذي لم (تجتمع شؤون) (٣) راسه (٤).

(٢) سقط من: [أ، ب].
(٣) في [هـ]: (يجتمع سود).
(٤) حسن؛ كليب صدوق، أخرجه الحاكم ١/ ٦٠٤، وابن خزيمة (٢١٧٢)، وابن أبي عاصم في الآحاد (٣٨٦)، وابن عبد البر في التمهيد ٢/ ٢١٠، وأبو نعيم في الحلية ١/ ٣١٧، ويعقوب في المعرفة ١/ ٢٨٤، والخطيب في الفقيه ٢/ ٢٧٧، وعبد اللَّه بن أحمد في الفضائل (١٩٠٤)، والحربي في الغريب ٢/ ٨٦٩.
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about something. Then he asked me about it, so I informed him. Then he said, "You people keep finding fault after fault with me, saying that you bring forth a child like this whose skull bones have not yet even joined together."
