٣٤٣٩٩ - حدثنا عبد الله بن إدريس عن الحسن بن عبيد الله عن إبراهيم بن سويد عن عبد الرحمن بن يزيد عن عبد الله قال: قال لي رسول الله ﷺ:" (إذنك) (١) على ان ترفع الحجاب، وان تسمع سوادي حتى انهاك" (٢).

(٢) صحيح؛ أخرجه مسلم (٢١٦٩)، وأحمد (٣٨٣٣).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: Your permission to enter the house is that the curtain is lifted, and you hear my voice, and you may come in unless I forbid you.

٣٤٤٠٠ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا المسعودي عن عبد الملك بن عمير عن ابي المليح الهذلي قال: كان عبد الله يستر النبي ﷺ إذا اغتسل، ويوقظه إذا نام، ويمشي معه في الارض (وحشا) (١) (٢).

(١) أي: وحده وسقط من: [أ، ب].
(٢) مرسل؛ أبو المليح تابعي، أخرجه ابن سعد ٣/ ١٥٣، وابن عساكر ٣٣/ ٨١.
Hazrat Abu al-Malih al-Hudhali (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) used to screen when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ghusl, and he used to wake the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he slept, and he used to walk alone with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the ground.

٣٤٤٠١ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا المسعودي عن (عياش) (١) العامري عن عبد الله ابن شداد (الكناني) (٢) قال: كان [ابن مسعود صاحب الوساد والسواك (٣).

Hazrat Abdullah bin Shaddad Kanani, may Allah have mercy on him, states that Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, was the confidant who would lift the cushion of the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.

٣٤٤٠٢ - حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا المسعودي عن القاسم قال] (١): كان عبد الله يلبس النبي ﷺ نعليه، ويمشي امامه (٢).

(١) سقط ما بين المعكوفين من: [ط، هـ].
(٢) مرسل؛ القاسم تابعي، أخرجه يعقوب في المعرفة ٢/ ٣١١.
Hazrat Qasim (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) used to put shoes on the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and would walk ahead of him.

٣٤٤٠٣ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن ابي إسحاق عن الحارث عن علي قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ:"لو كنت مستخلفا (عن) (١) غير مشورة لاستخلفت ابن ام عبد" (٢).

(٢) ضعيف؛ لضعف الحارث، أخرجه أحمد (٧٣٩)، وابن ماجه (١٣٧)، والترمذي (٣٨٠٩)، والبزار (٨٣٨)، وابن سعد ٣/ ١٥٤، والخطيب في تاريخ بغداد ١/ ١٤٨، والحاكم ٨/ ٣١٣.
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If I were to appoint anyone as a caliph without consultation, I would appoint Ibn Umm Abd (may Allah be pleased with him).

٣٤٤٠٤ - حدثنا ابو اسامة قال: حدثني زائدة عن عاصم بن ابي النجود عن زر قال: جعل القوم يضحكون مما (تصنع) (١) الريح بعبد الله (تلفته) (٢)، قال: فقال رسول الله ﷺ:"لهو اثقل عند الله يوم القيامة ميزانا من احد" (٣).

Hazrat Asim bin Abi Najood (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Zir bin Hubaish (may Allah have mercy on him) said: People used to laugh at the fact that when the wind blew strongly, it would toss Hazrat Abdullah around. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Surely, on the Day of Resurrection, he will be heavier in Allah’s scale than the mountain of Uhud.

٣٤٤٠٥ - حدثنا محمد بن ابي عبيدة قال: ثنا ابي عن الاعمش عن العلاء بن بدر عن تميم بن حذلم قال: قد جالست اصحاب محمد ﷺ (١) وابا بكر وعمر فما رايت (واحدا) (٢) ازهد في (الدنيا) (٣) ولا ارغب في الآخرة، ولا احب إلي ان اكون في مسلاخه يوم القيامة منك يا عبد الله بن مسعود (٤).

(٤) صحيح.
Hazrat Tamim bin Hazlam, may Allah have mercy on him, says that I have attended the gatherings of many companions of Muhammad, may Allah be pleased with him. The gatherings of Hazrat Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, and Hazrat Umar, may Allah be pleased with him. But I have not seen anyone more disinterested in the world and more desirous of the Hereafter than Ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him. O Abdullah bin Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, nor do I wish that on the Day of Judgment I should be with them instead of you, may Allah be pleased with him.

٣٤٤٠٦ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن منصور عن القاسم بن عبد الرحمن قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ:"رضيت لامتي ما رضي لها ابن ام عبد" (١).

(١) مرسل؛ القاسم تابعي، أخرجه أحمد في الفضائل (١٥٣٦)، والحاكم ٣/ ٣١٨، والطبراني (٨٤٥٨)، وابن أبي عمر كما في المطالب (٤٠٦٦)، ويعقوب في المعرفة ٢/ ٣١٩، وورد من طريق القاسم عن أبيه عن جده، أخرجه البزار (١٩٨٦)، والطبراني في الأوسط (٦٨٧٩).
Hazrat Qasim bin Abdur Rahman (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I have liked for my Ummah whatever Ibn Umm Abd has liked.

٣٤٤٠٧ - حدثنا محمد بن فضيل عن مغيرة عن ام موسى (قالت) (١): سمعت عليا يقول: امر رسول الله ﷺ ابن مسعود ان يصعد شجرة فياتيه بشيء منها، فنظر اصحابه إلى حموشة ساقيه فضحكوا منها، فقال النبي ﷺ:"ما يضحككم؟ لرجل عبد الله في الميزان اثقل من احد" (٢).

(٢) مجهول؛ لجهالة أم موسى، أخرجه أحمد (٩٢٠)، والبخاري في الأدب (٢٣٧)، وابن سعد ٣/ ١٥٥، وأبو يعلى (٥٣٩)، والطبراني (٨٥١٦)، ويعقوب بن سفيان ٢/ ٥٤٦.
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed Hazrat Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) to climb a tree and bring some fruit. The companions of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah be pleased with them) began to laugh upon seeing his thin shins. Upon this, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Why are you laughing? The leg of Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) will be heavier on the scale than the mountain of Uhud.

٣٤٤٠٨ - حدثنا محمد بن ابي عبيدة قال: حدثني ابي عن الاعمش عن القاسم بن عبد الرحمن عن ابيه قال: قال (عبد الله بن مسعود) (١): لقد رايتني ⦗١١٢⦘ سادس ستة ما على ظهر الارض مسلم غيرنا (٢).

(١) في النسخ: (قال: رسول اللَّه ﷺ)، وسيأتي مرتين برقم [٣٦١٥٨] و [٣٩٣٦٢] على الصواب قال: (عبد اللَّه بن مسعود)، وهو كذلك في مصادر التخريج.
(٢) صحيح؛ أخرجه ابن حبان (٧٠٦٢)، والحاكم ٣/ ٣١٣، وابن أبي عاصم في الآحاد (٢٣٨)، والطبراني (٨٤٠٦)، والبزار (١٩٨٧)، وأبو نعيم في الحلية ١/ ١٢٦، وابن عساكر ٣٣/ ٦٨.
Hazrat Abdur Rahman (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I saw myself as the sixth among six. There was no other Muslim on the face of the earth besides us.
