Virtue of the Ansar

٣٤٥٢٦ - حدثنا إسماعيل ابن علية عن عبد العزيز بن صهيب عن انس ان رسول الله ﷺ راى نساء وصبيانا من الانصار مقبلين من عرس، فقال:"اللهم انتم ⦗١٥١⦘ من احب الناس إلي" (١).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) صحيح؛ أخرجه البخاري (٣٧٨٦)، ومسلم (٢٥٠٩).
Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw the women of the Ansar coming from a wedding ceremony, he said: By Allah! You people are the most beloved to me among all people.

٣٤٥٢٧ - حدثنا علي بن هاشم عن ابن ابي ليلى عن محمد بن عبد الرحمن عن ابن شرحبيل عن قيس بن سعد بن عبادة عن النبي ﷺ انه قال:"اللهم صل على الانصار، وعلى ذرية الانصار، وعلى ذرية ذرية الانصار" (١).

(١) ضعيف؛ لضعف ابن أبي ليلى، أخرجه النسائي (١٠١٥٦)، والبزار (٣٧٤٤)، وابن أبي عاصم في الآحاد (١٧٦٥)، والطبراني ١٨/ (٨٩٠)، وابن السني في عمل اليوم والليلة (٦٦٣)، وابن مندة في معرفة أسامي الأرداف ص ٨٦.
Hazrat Qais bin Sa'd bin Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Allah! Have mercy on the Ansar, and on the children of the Ansar, and on the children of the children of the Ansar.

٣٤٥٢٨ - حدثنا ابن إدريس عن محمد بن إسحاق عن عاصم بن عمر بن قتادة عن محمود بن لبيد عن ابي سعيد الخدري قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ:"لو سلك الناس واديا وشعبا وسلكتم واديا وشعبا لسلكت واديكم وشعبكم، انتم شعار (١)، والناس دثار، ولولا الهجرة (كنت) (٢) امرءا من الانصار"، ثم رفع يديه حتى إني لارى بياض إبطيه ما تحت منكبيه فقال:"اللهم اغفر للانصار ولابناء الانصار ولابناء ابناء الانصار" (٣).

(٣) حسن؛ ابن إسحاق صدوق، صرح ابن إسحاق بالسماع عند أحمد، وأخرجه أحمد (١١٧٣٠)، وأبو يعلى (١٠٩٢)، والبيهقي في الدلائل ٥/ ١٧٦، وعبد الرزاق (١٩٩١٨)، وعبد بن حميد (٩١٥)، وأبو نعيم في تاريخ أصبهان ٢/ ٧٢.
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If people walk in one valley and mountain pass, and O Ansar! you walk in another valley and mountain pass, then surely I will walk in your valley and mountain pass. You are to me like the inner part of a garment, and the rest of the people are like the outer part of a garment. And if migration were not an important matter, I would have been a man from among the Ansar. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) raised both his hands, until I saw the whiteness of his armpits beneath his shoulders. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed: O Allah! Forgive the Ansar. And forgive the children of the Ansar.

٣٤٥٢٩ - حدثنا شبابة قال: ثنا شعبة قال: ثنا عدي بن ثابت عن البراء بن عازب قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ:"الانصار لا يحبهم إلا مؤمن، ولا يبغضهم إلا منافق، ومن احبهم احبه الله، ومن ابغضهم ابغضه الله" (١).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) صحيح؛ أخرجه البخاري (٣٧٨٣)، ومسلم (٧٥).
Hazrat Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: None but a believer will love the Ansar, and none but a hypocrite will harbor enmity towards them. Whoever loves them, Allah also loves him. And whoever harbors enmity towards them, Allah also harbors enmity towards him.

٣٤٥٣٠ - حدثنا محمد بن بشر العبدي قال: ثنا محمد بن عمرو عن ابي سلمة عن ابي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ:"لو ان الناس سلكوا واديا او شعبا، وسلك الانصار واديا او شعبا، لسلكت وادي الانصار او شعبهم، ولولا الهجرة لكنت امرءا من الانصار" (١).

(١) حسن؛ محمد بن عمرو صدوق، وأخرجه البخاري (٣٧٧٩)، وأحمد (١٠٥٠٩)، ومسلم (٧٦).
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If people were to walk in one valley or mountain pass, and the Ansar were to walk in another valley or mountain pass, I would certainly walk in the valley or mountain pass of the Ansar. And if migration were not an important matter, I would have been one of the Ansar myself.

٣٤٥٣١ - [حدثنا محمد بن بشر قال: حدثنا محمد بن عمرو قال: حدثنا ابو سلمة عن ابي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ:"من احب الانصار احبه الله، ومن ابغض الانصار ابغضه الله"] (١) (٢).

Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever loves the Ansar, Allah will also love him, and whoever harbors enmity towards the Ansar, Allah will also harbor enmity towards him.

٣٤٥٣٢ - حدثنا محمد بن بشر قال: ثنا محمد بن عمرو قال: ثنا سعد بن المنذر عن حمزة بن ابي سيد الانصاري عن الحارث بن زياد -من اصحاب بدر- قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ:"من احب الانصار احبه الله (حتى) (١) يلقاه، ومن ابغض الانصار ابغضه الله (حتى) (٢) يلقاه" (٣).

(٣) مجهول؛ لجهالة سعد بن المنذر، أخرجه ابن حبان (٧٢٧٣)، وأحمد (١٧٩٦٦)، وابن أبي عاصم (١٧٧٧)، والمزي ٥/ ٢٢٩، وابن نصر في تعظيم الصلاة (٤٧٤).
Hazrat Harith bin Ziyad (may Allah be pleased with him), who was a Badri companion, narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever loves the Ansar, Allah Almighty will also love him until he meets Allah, and whoever harbors enmity towards the Ansar, Allah will also harbor enmity towards him until he meets Allah.

٣٤٥٣٣ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال: اخبرنا يحيى بن (سعيد) (١) ان سعد بن إبراهيم اخبره عن الحكم بن ميناء عن يزيد بن (جارية) (٢) انه كان جالسا في نفر من ⦗١٥٣⦘ الانصار فمر عليهم معاوية فسالهم عن حديثهم، فقالوا: كنا في حديث من حديث الانصار فقال معاوية: افلا ازيدكم حديثا سمعته من رسول الله ﷺ؟ قالوا: بلى يا امير المؤمنين، قال: سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول:"من احب الانصار احبه الله، ومن ابغض الانصار ابغضه الله" (٣).

(٣) صحيح؛ لجهالة سعد بن المنذر، يزيد بن جارية ثقة، أخرجه أحمد (١٦٨٧١)، والنسائي في الكبرى (٨٣٣٢)، والبخاري في التاريخ ٣/ ٣٨٩، وابن أبي عاصم في الآحاد (١٧٠٨)، وأبو يعلى (٧٣٦٨)، والطبراني ١٩/ (٧١٨).
Hazrat Hakam bin Mina (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Yazid bin Jariyah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I was sitting among a group of the Ansar when Hazrat Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) passed by us. He asked the people about what they were discussing. The people replied: We are talking about the Ansar. Upon this, Hazrat Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Shall I not narrate to you a hadith which I myself heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? The people said: O Commander of the Faithful, why not! Certainly! He (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever loves the Ansar, Allah will also love him. And whoever harbors enmity against the Ansar, Allah will also harbor enmity against him.

٣٤٥٣٤ - حدثنا ابو اسامة عن زكريا عن عطية عن ابي سعيد قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ:"الا إن عيبتي التي آوى إليها (١) اهل بيتي، وإن كرشي الانصار، فاعفوا عن مسيئهم واقبلوا من محسنهم" (٢).

(١) في [أ، ب]: زيادة (الأنصار).
(٢) ضعيف؛ لضعف عطية العوفي، أخرجه أحمد (١١٨٤٢)، والترمذي (٣٩٠٤)، وأبو يعلى (١٣٥٨)، وابن أبي عاصم (١٧١٦)، وابن سعد ٢/ ٢٥٢، والرامهرمزي في الأمثال (١٣٣)، وسبق من وجه آخر برقم [١٢٤٠٢].
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Beware, my special people to whom I have sought refuge are my household. And surely my confidants are the Ansar. So overlook their faults and appreciate their good deeds.

٣٤٥٣٥ - حدثنا وكيع عن ابن ابي ليلى عن عدي عن البراء ان النبي ﷺ قال:"اقبلوا من محسنهم، وتجاوزوا عن مسيئهم"، -يعني الانصار (١).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) ضعيف؛ ابن أبي ليلى سيء الحفظ، أخرجه البيهقي في شعب الإيمان (١٦٠٨).
Hazrat Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Appreciate their good deeds and overlook their shortcomings. That is, the people of the Ansar.
