٣٧٥٥٣ - حدثنا عفان قال: حدثنا وهيب قال: حدثنا داود بن ابي هند عن ابي حرب بن ابي الاسود عن ابيه قال: جمع ابو موسى القراء (فقال) (١): لا يدخلن عليكم إلا من جمع القرآن، قال: فدخلنا زهاء ثلاثمائة رجل (فوعظنا) (٢) وقال: انتم قراء هذا البلد وانتم، فلا يطولن عليكم الامد فتقسو قلوبكم كما قست قلوب اهل الكتاب (٣).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) في [س]: (قال).
(٢) في [س]: (بوعظنا).
(٣) صحيح؛ أخرجه مسلم (١٠٥٠).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu’l-Aswad that he says Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) gathered the reciters. He (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Only those should come here who have compiled the Qur’an. The narrator says that about three hundred people gathered. Then he (may Allah be pleased with him) advised us and said: You people are the reciters of this city. Do not have long hopes, otherwise your hearts will become hardened just as the hearts of the People of the Book became hardened.

٣٧٥٥٤ - حدثنا ابو خالد عن اشعث عن ابي بردة قال: بعثني (ابي) (١) إلى المدينة وقال: الحق اصحاب رسول الله ﷺ (فسائلهم) (٢)، واعلم اني سائلك، فلقيت ابن سلام فإذا هو رجل خاشع (٣).

(١) سقط من: [ب].
(٢) في [أ، ب، ع]: (فسايلهم).
(٣) ضعيف؛ أشعث هو ابن سوّار ضعيف.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Burdah that he says: My father sent me towards Madinah and said: Meet the companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, and ask them questions. And remember, I will ask you (about it). So I met Hazrat Ibn Salam; he was a humble man.
