It is narrated from Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair that when the winter season would come, he would say: O people of the Qur'an! The night has become long for your prayers and the day has become short for your fasts. So consider this a blessing.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair that he said: Among you, the one who strives the most is like the one who used to play among the people of earlier times.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair that he says: Indeed, the inhabitants of the graves await news. Then, when no news reaches them, they say: "Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. They have set out on a path other than ours."

It is narrated from Hazrat Baeed bin Umair that he says: On the Day of Resurrection, a tall man will be brought and placed in the scale, but with Allah, his weight will not even be as much as a mosquito's wing. Then the Prophet recited this verse: { فَلاَ نُقِیمُ لَہُمْ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَۃِ وَزْنًا }.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair regarding the verse of the Holy Qur'an { لِکُلِّ أَوَّابٍ حَفِیظٍ }. He says that it is about the person who, whenever he sits in any gathering and then gets up, seeks forgiveness from Allah.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair that he said: Among the truthfulness of faith and goodness is to perform ablution thoroughly in disliked times. Among the truthfulness of faith and goodness is that a man is alone with a beautiful woman and then leaves her—he leaves her only for the sake of Allah.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair regarding the Divine Command { عُتُلٍّ بَعْدَ ذَلِکَ زَنِیمٍ }, he says: "He is one who eats and drinks excessively. He is strong and tough, but when weighed, he does not even equal the weight of a barley grain. An angel will throw seventy people like him into Hell at once."

It is narrated from Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair regarding { لِکُلِّ أَوَّابٍ حَفِیظٍ }, he says: This is the person who remembers his sins in seclusion and then seeks forgiveness for them.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair regarding { کُلَّ یَوْمٍ ہُوَ فِی شَأْنٍ }, he says: Among its distinctions is that it grants freedom to the captive, or accepts the supplicant’s prayer, or grants healing to the sick, or gives to the one who asks.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair that he said: You are written with Allah, along with your names, your signs, your companions in gatherings, and your outward appearances.
