باب حق الوالدين - ذكر استحباب المبالغة للمرء في بر والده رجاء اللحوق بالبررة فيه
Chapter on Parents’ Rights – It is recommended to excel in honoring one’s father to join the righteous.
Hadith Number: 424
اخبرنا ابو خليفة ، قال: حدثنا مسدد ، قال: حدثنا خالد ، وابو عوانة ، قال: حدثنا سهيل بن ابي صالح ، عن ابيه ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا يجزي ولد والده، إلا ان يجده مملوكا، فيشتريه فيعتقه" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No person can repay his father, except in the situation where he finds him as a slave and buys him and sets him free."
