It is narrated from Hazrat Khuraim (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood at his place to deliver a sermon and said three times: False testimony has been equated with shirk (associating partners with Allah). Hadith of Abdullah ibn Zam'ah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 18906
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Zam’ah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was afflicted with his final illness, I was present there with a group of Muslims. Meanwhile, Hazrat Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) gave the call to prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,“Tell someone to lead the people in prayer.”I went out and found that Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was present among the people, but Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq was not present. I said,“Umar! Step forward and lead the prayer.”So Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) stepped forward. When he said the takbeer and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) heard his voice, as Hazrat Umar’s voice was loud, he said,“Where is Abu Bakr? Allah and the Muslims refuse this. Allah and the Muslims refuse this.”Then someone was sent to call Hazrat Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him). When he came, Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) had already led the people in that prayer. Then Hazrat Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) led the people in prayer. Abdullah says that Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said to me,“Alas! O Ibn Zam’ah! What have you done to me? By Allah! When you told me to step forward, I thought the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had commanded you to do so. If it was not so, I would never have led the people in prayer.”I said to him,“By Allah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not command me to do so, but I did not see Hazrat Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him), so among those present, I did not find anyone more deserving of leading the prayer than you.”

Hadith of al-Miswar ibn Makhramah al-Zuhri and Marwan ibn al-Hakam (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith Number: 18907
It is narrated from Hazrat Miswar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Hasan bin Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) sent a marriage proposal to him for his daughter. He said to the messenger, "Tell Hasan to meet me at night (Isha)." When they met, Miswar (may Allah be pleased with him) praised Allah and, after saying 'Amma Ba'd', said: "By Allah! There is no lineage and family more beloved to me than yours, but the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Fatimah is a part of me; whatever distresses her distresses me, and whatever pleases her pleases me. And on the Day of Judgment, all lineages and relationships will end except my lineage and family.' You already have the daughter of Hazrat Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) in your marriage. If I marry my daughter to you, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) will be distressed." Hearing this, Hasan accepted his excuse and went back.

Narrated from Hazrat Miswar bin Makhrama and Marwan that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) set out from Madinah in the year of Hudaybiyyah, accompanied by a thousand and a few hundred men. When they reached near Usfan, a spy—whose name was Bishr bin Sufyan Ka’bi—returned and reported that the Quraysh had gathered many troops against you and had united various tribes. They are ready to fight you and will prevent you from entering the Ka’bah. Khalid bin Walid has also advanced with his companions up to Kura’ al-Ghamim. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed his companions and said,“O people! What is your opinion? Should I turn towards their families, and capture the families of those who want to prevent me from the Ka’bah? If they come to help their children, their group will break apart, otherwise, we will leave them destitute. In any case, it will be their loss.”Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) said,“O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), you have set out with the intention of the Ka’bah, not for fighting. You should head towards the Ka’bah, and then whoever stops us, we will fight them.”The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said,“Alright (then proceed in the name of Allah).”So everyone set out.
On the way, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said,“Khalid bin Walid is lying in wait for us with (two hundred) horsemen of the Quraysh at (the place of) Ghamim, so you too turn to the right (towards Khalid’s side).”All the people turned to the right, and Khalid did not know until he saw the dust of the army rising. Seeing the dust, Khalid quickly went and warned the Quraysh of the arrival of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) continued as usual until, when he reached the hill from which people descend into Makkah, his she-camel sat down. People tried hard, but the she-camel did not get up; she remained seated. People began to say that Qaswa (the name of the Prophet’s she-camel) has become stubborn. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said,“Qaswa has not become stubborn by herself, nor is this her habit. Rather, she has been stopped by Him who stopped the people of the elephant.”Then he said,“By Him in Whose hand is my soul, whatever the people of Makkah ask of me to maintain the sanctity of the Haram, I will grant it to them.”After this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prodded the she-camel, and she immediately stood up. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) turned away from the path of the people of Makkah and went to the other side, and camped at a place on the other side of Hudaybiyyah where there was a little water. The people took that little water. When all the water was drawn and none was left, a complaint was made to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about the lack of water. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took an arrow from his quiver and gave it to the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) and ordered them to put it in the water. The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) complied with the order. As soon as the arrow was placed in the water, the water began to gush forth so much that all the people drank to their fill and still water remained.
Meanwhile, Budayl bin Warqa’ Khuza’i, who was a confidant of the Messenger of Allah, came with some men of his tribe and said,“I have left the family of Ka’b bin Lu’ayy and the tribes of ‘Amir bin Lu’ayy at the flowing water of Hudaybiyyah. They have milch camels with them, their families as well, and they are as numerous as the drops of water at Hudaybiyyah. They are ready to fight you and prevent you from the Ka’bah.”The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said,“We have not come to fight anyone; we have only come to perform ‘Umrah. These wars have weakened and harmed the Quraysh. If they wish to make peace, I will set a term for them during which neither we will fight them nor they us. As for the other disbelievers of Arabia, they should not interfere. If during this period the disbelievers overpower me, their wish will be fulfilled. If I overpower the disbelievers, then the Quraysh will have the choice: if they wish to enter (this religion) in which others have entered, they may do so; and if they do not wish to become Muslim, then during the period of peace they will not have to suffer any harm. If the Quraysh do not accept any of these terms, then by Allah in Whose hand is my soul, I will continue to fight them for my cause (religion) until my neck is severed from my body, and it is certain that Allah will grant victory to His religion.”Budayl said,“I will convey your message to the Quraysh...”

It is narrated from Hazrat Miswar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) sent a marriage proposal to the daughter of Abu Jahl (in the presence of Hazrat Fatimah, may Allah be pleased with her) and made a promise of marriage. Upon this, Hazrat Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) came to the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "The people of your community are saying among themselves that you do not even get angry in matters concerning your daughters, because Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) has sent a marriage proposal to the daughter of Abu Jahl." Hearing this, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood among the noble Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), praised and glorified Allah, and said: "Fatimah is a part of my flesh. I do not consider it good that she be put to trial." Then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned his elder son-in-law, Hazrat Abu Al-As bin Al-Rabi' (may Allah be pleased with him), and praised him greatly. Then he said: "The daughter of the Prophet of Allah and the daughter of the enemy of Allah cannot be united in the marriage of one man." Thus, Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) abandoned this idea.
