It is narrated from a companion who was a slave of the people of Quba that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us in Quba and sat in the courtyard without any canopies. People also began to gather. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked for water and drank from it. At that time, I was the youngest and was on the right side of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave me the leftover water, which I drank. I also remember that on that day, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in prayer, and he was wearing shoes, which he then took off.

I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Hajj is (standing at) the Day of Arafah. Whoever reaches the plain of Arafat before the dawn prayer on the night of Muzdalifah, his Hajj is complete. And there are three days in Mina, so whoever returns after two days, there is no sin upon him, and whoever returns later, there is also no sin upon him." Then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made a man sit behind him who began to announce these words.

It is narrated from Hazrat Khalid Adwani (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the tribe of Thaqif to seek help, they saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the eastern part of Thaqif. At that time, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was standing, leaning on a bow or a staff. I heard him reciting the complete Surah "Was-Samaa'i wat-Tariq." At that time, I was a polytheist, but even then I memorized it by heart. Later, after becoming a Muslim, I continued to recite it. The people of the tribe of Thaqif called me and asked, "What did you hear this man reciting?" I recited that Surah to them. The people of Quraysh who were present among their companions said, "We know our companion very well. If we were certain that what he is saying is true, we would surely follow him."

It is narrated from Hazrat Kaysan (may Allah be pleased with him) that he used to trade in wine during the time of the Prophet. Once, he returned from Syria with many jars of wine which he had brought for trade. He presented himself before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! I have brought very fine wine to you." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Kaysan! That has become forbidden for you behind your back." He asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Can I sell it?"
