It is narrated from Hazrat Bayazi (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the people while they were praying, and during the recitation of the Qur'an their voices were being raised. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A person who is praying is supplicating to his Lord, so he should see to whom he is supplicating, and you should not raise your voices over one another while reciting the Qur'an."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I used to perform the Asr prayer with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then I would reach my place before the sun had set.

It is narrated from Hazrat Fadala Laithi (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I presented myself before the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and accepted Islam. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught me some things and instructed me to perform the five daily prayers at their prescribed times. I said to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that I am busy at those times, so please tell me some comprehensive things. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If you are busy, then at least do not leave the "Asrain." I asked, what is meant by "Asrain"? The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The morning prayer and the Asr prayer.

It is narrated from Hazrat Malik bin Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever includes an orphan child of Muslim parents in his food and drink until the child becomes independent (able to earn for himself), Paradise becomes obligatory for him. Whoever frees a Muslim man, he becomes the cause of that man's freedom from Hell, and for every limb of the freed person, each of his own limbs is freed from Hell.

It is narrated from Hazrat Malik bin Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever includes an orphan child of Muslim parents in his own food and drink until the child becomes independent of this help (begins to earn for himself), then Paradise is certainly made obligatory for him.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ubayy bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever finds his parents or even one of them and still enters Hell, then he has become very far from the mercy of Allah.

Hajjaj narrated to us, Shubah narrated to me, from Qatadah, who said: I heard Zurarah ibn Awfa narrating, from Ubayy ibn Malik, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ubayy bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever finds his parents or even one of them and still enters Hell, then he has become very far from the mercy of Allah.

It is narrated from Hazrat Malik bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever frees a Muslim man, it becomes a cause for his freedom from Hell, and for every limb of the freed person, a corresponding limb of his is freed from Hell. Whoever finds either of his parents and still does not attain forgiveness has gone very far. Whoever keeps an orphan child of Muslim parents included in his food and drink until the child becomes independent (starts earning himself), then Paradise is certainly made obligatory for him.

It is narrated from Hazrat Khushkhash Anbari (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I took my son with me and presented myself before the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked, "Is this your son?" I replied, "Yes (I bear witness to it)." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "You will not be held responsible for any crime of his, nor will he be held responsible for any crime of yours."
