Musnad Ahmad
وَمِنْ حَدِيثِ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
And from the hadith of Samurah ibn Jundub about the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith Number: 20083
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، حدثنا سعيد , ويزيد ، قال: اخبرنا سعيد , وبهز ، حدثنا همام ، عن قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة بن جندب ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم , انه قال: " كل غلام رهينة بعقيقته، تذبح عنه يوم سابعه , وقال بهز في حديثه: ويدمى ويسمى فيه ويحلق" قال يزيد: راسه.
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Every boy is held in pledge for his 'aqiqah, so sacrifice should be offered for him on the seventh day, his name should be given on that day, and his head should be shaved.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، قد صرح الحسن بسماعه لهذا الحديث من سمرة، خ: تحت: 5472
Hadith Number: 20084
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، حدثنا سعيد , وبهز , حدثنا همام ، حدثنا قتادة ، عن الحسن , عن سمرة , ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " العمرى جائزة لاهلها" , قال ابن جعفر في حديثه: لاهلها او ميراث لاهلها.
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Umra is permissible for the person for whom it is made."
حكم دارالسلام: صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناد ضعيف، ولم يصرح الحسن بسماعه من سمرة
Hadith Number: 20085
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، حدثنا سعيد ، عن قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم , وشك فيه في كتاب البيوع , فقال: عن عقبة او سمرة , ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " ايما امراة زوجها وليان، فهي للاول منهما، ومن باع بيعا من رجلين، فهو للاول منهما" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If a woman is married by two guardians at different places, she will belong to the one who did it first, and when someone sells the same thing to two different men, it will belong to the one who bought it first.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده ضعيف، الحسن البصري لم يصرح بسماعه
Hadith Number: 20086
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر , ومحمد بن بشر , قالا: حدثنا سعيد ، عن قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة بن جندب ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " على اليد ما اخذت حتى تؤديه" , وقال ابن بشر: حتى تؤدي.
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whatever one hand takes from another, it remains a responsibility upon him until he returns it (to the giver).
حكم دارالسلام: حسن لغيره، وهذا إسناد ضعيف لأن الحسن لم يصرح بسماعه
Hadith Number: 20087
حدثنا بهز ، حدثنا همام ويزيد ، اخبرنا همام وحدثنا عفان ، حدثنا همام , حدثنا قتادة ، حدثني قدامة بن وبرة رجل من بني عجيف، عن سمرة بن جندب ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " من ترك جمعة في غير عذر، فليتصدق بدينار، فإن لم يجد، فنصف دينار" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever misses a Friday (prayer) without excuse, he should give one dinar in charity; if he cannot find one dinar, then he should give half a dinar in charity.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده ضعيف لجهالة قدامة بن وبرة
Hadith Number: 20088
حدثنا بهز , وعفان , قالا: حدثنا همام ، عن قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " جار الدار احق بالدار من غيره" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The neighbor of the house has more right to that house than others.
حكم دارالسلام: صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناد ضعف، الحسن لم يصرح بسماعه
Hadith Number: 20089
حدثنا بهز , وعبد الصمد , قالا: حدثنا همام ، عن قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة , قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من توضا فبها ونعمت، ومن اغتسل، فذلك افضل" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever performs ablution on the day of Jumu'ah, it is sufficient, and whoever takes a bath, that is more virtuous.
حكم دارالسلام: حسن لغيره، وهذا إسناد ضعيف، الحسن لم يصرح بسماعه
Hadith Number: 20090
حدثنا بهز , وعبد الصمد , قالا: حدثنا همام ، عن قتادة , قال عبد الصمد: حدثني قتادة، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة , ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " إذا انكح المراة الوليان، فهي للاول منهما، وإذا بيع البيع من الرجلين، فهي للاول منهما" .

حدثنا بهز , وعفان , قالا: حدثنا ابان ، حدثنا قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة : ان نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: حافظوا على الصلوات سورة البقرة آية 238 قال عفان: الصلاة والصلاة الوسطى سورة البقرة آية 238 , وسماها لنا:" إنما هي صلاة العصر" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once someone asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "What is meant by 'Salat al-Wusta'?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "The Asr prayer."

Hadith Number: 20092
حدثنا بهز ، حدثنا ابان ، حدثنا قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة : ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال يوم حنين في يوم مطير: " الصلاة في الرحال" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of rain during the Battle of Hunain, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed the people to pray in their tents.
