Musnad Ahmad
وَمِنْ حَدِيثِ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
And from the hadith of Samurah ibn Jundub about the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith Number: 20113
حدثنا روح ، حدثنا اشعث ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة بن جندب ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " من صلى صلاة الغداة، فهو في ذمة الله، فلا تخفروا الله تبارك وتعالى في ذمته" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever performs the Fajr prayer comes under the protection of Allah, so do not take Allah’s protection lightly.
حكم دارالسلام: صحيح لغيره، وهذا إنساد ضعيف، الحسن لم يصرح بسماعه
Hadith Number: 20114
حدثنا روح من كتابه، حدثنا سعيد بن ابي عروبة ، عن قتادة ، قال: حدث الحسن ، عن سمرة , ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " سام ابو العرب، ويافث ابو الروم، وحام ابو الحبش" ، وقال روح ببغداد من حفظه:" ولد نوح ثلاثة: سام، وحام، ويافث".
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sam is the ancestor of the Arabs, Ham is the ancestor of the Abyssinians, and Yafith is the ancestor of the Romans.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده ضعيف، الحسن لم يصرح بسماعه
Hadith Number: 20115
حدثنا سليمان بن داود الطيالسي ، حدثنا عمران ، عن قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة , ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " نهى ان يخطب الرجل على خطبة اخيه، او يبتاع على بيعه" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade that a person should send his proposal of marriage over the proposal of his brother, or sell over his sale.
حكم دارالسلام: صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناد ضعيف، الحسن لم يصرح بسماعه
Hadith Number: 20116
حدثنا عبد الصمد ، حدثنا هشام ، عن قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة , ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " إذا نكح وليان فهي للاول، وإذا باع اثنان فالبيع للاول" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If a woman is married by two guardians at different places, then she will belong to the one who did it first, and whoever buys the same thing from two different men, then it will belong to the one who bought it first.

Hadith Number: 20117
حدثنا عبد الصمد ، حدثنا عمر بن إبراهيم ، حدثنا قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة , عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " لما حملت حواء طاف بها إبليس، وكان لا يعيش لها ولد، فقال: سميه عبد الحارث، فإنه يعيش , فسموه عبد الحارث، فعاش، وكان ذلك من وحي الشيطان، وامره" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When Hazrat Hawwa (peace be upon her) became pregnant, Satan came to her. None of her children would survive. Satan said to her: Name your child ‘Abdul Harith’ and he will live. So she named her child ‘Abdul Harith’ and he survived. This happened due to the whispering and suggestion of Satan.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده ضعيف، عمر بن إبراهيم فى روايته عن قتادة ضعف، والحسن لم يصرح بسماعه
Hadith Number: 20118
قال عبد الله: وجدت في كتاب ابي بخط يده، واكبر ظني اني قد سمعته منه، قال: حدثنا علي بن عبد الله ، حدثنا معاذ ، قال: وجدت في كتاب ابي بخط يده ولم اسمعه منه: حدثنا قتادة ، عن يحيى بن مالك ، عن سمرة بن جندب , ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " احضروا الذكر، وادنوا من الإمام، فإن الرجل لا يزال يتباعد حتى يؤخر في الجنة وإن دخلها" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Attend the Friday prayer and stay close to the Imam, for a person who keeps staying behind from Jumu'ah keeps staying behind from Paradise, even though he is deserving of it.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح
Hadith Number: 20119
حدثنا علي بن عبد الله ، حدثنا معاذ ، حدثني ابي ، عن مطر ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة , ان نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " نهى ان تتلقى الاجلاب حتى تبلغ الاسواق، او يبيع حاضر لباد" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade meeting traders coming from outside before they reach the market, or that any townsman should sell the merchandise of a villager.
حكم دارالسلام: صحيح الغيره، وهذا إسناد ضعيف، مطر حسن الحديث فى المتابعات والشواهد، والحسن لم يصرح بسماعه
Hadith Number: 20120
حدثنا علي بن عبد الله ، حدثنا يزيد بن زريع ، حدثنا شعبة ، عن قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " من توضا فبها ونعمت، ومن اغتسل فذاك افضل" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever performs ablution on the day of Jumu'ah, it is sufficient, and whoever takes a bath, that is more virtuous.
حكم دارالسلام: حسن لغيره، وهذا إسناد ضعيف، الحسن لم يذكر سماعه
Hadith Number: 20121
حدثنا عفان ، حدثنا همام ، حدثنا قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة , ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " إذا انكحت المراة زوجين، فهي للاول منهما، وإذا بيع البيع من رجلين، فهو للاول منهما" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If a woman is married by two guardians in different places, she will belong to the first of them, and whoever buys the same thing from two different men, it will belong to the first of them.

Hadith Number: 20122
حدثنا عفان ، حدثنا ابو عوانة ، حدثنا قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من قتل عبده قتلناه، ومن جدعه جدعناه" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever kills his slave, we will kill him, and whoever cuts off his slave’s nose, we will cut off his nose.
