حَدِيثُ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ الْهِلَالِيَّةِ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Hadith of Maymunah bint al-Harith al-Hilaliyyah, the wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith Number: 26840
حدثنا يحيى بن آدم ، قال: حدثنا جعفر بن زياد ، عن منصور ، عن رجل ، عن ميمونة بنت الحارث ، قالت: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " من استدان دينا، يعلم الله عز وجل منه انه يريد اداءه، اداه الله عنه" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Maymunah that I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: Whoever takes a loan from someone and Allah knows that he intends to repay it, then Allah enables him to repay it.
حكم دارالسلام: صحيح بشواهده، وهذا إسناد ضعيف لانقطاعه، سالم لم يسمع من ميمونة
Hadith Number: 26841
حدثنا يونس ، حدثنا حماد يعني ابن سلمة ، عن حبيب بن الشهيد ، عن ميمون بن مهران ، عن يزيد الاصم ابن اخي ميمونة , انها قالت: إن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم " تزوجها، وهما حلالان بسرف، بعدما رجع" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Maymunah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) married me at Sarf when we had come out of the state of Ihram and had departed from Makkah Mukarramah.
حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، وقد اختلف فى وصله وأرساله، وأرساله أصح
Hadith Number: 26842
حدثنا وكيع ، قال: حدثنا الاعمش ، عن سالم ، عن كريب ، قال: حدثنا ابن عباس ، عن خالته ميمونة ، قالت:" وضعت للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم غسلا، فاغتسل من الجنابة، ثم اتيته بثوب حين اغتسل، فقال: بيده هكذا" ، يعني: رده.
It is narrated from Hazrat Maymunah that I placed water for the Prophet (peace be upon him) to perform ghusl. The Prophet (peace be upon him) performed ghusl for janabah. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) had finished the ghusl, I brought a cloth (towel), but the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade me with a gesture of his hand.

Hadith Number: 26843
حدثنا وكيع ، قال: حدثنا الاعمش ، عن سالم ، عن كريب ، قال: حدثنا ابن عباس ، عن خالته ميمونة ، قالت: وضعت للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم غسلا، " فاغتسل من الجنابة، واكفا الإناء بشماله على يمينه، فغسل كفيه ثلاثا، ثم ادخل يده في الإناء، فافاض على فرجه، ثم دلك يده بالحائط، او الارض، ثم مضمض واستنشق ثلاثا، وغسل وجهه ثلاثا، وذراعيه ثلاثا ثلاثا، ثم افاض على راسه ثلاثا، ثم افاض على سائر جسده الماء، ثم تنحى فغسل رجليه" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Maymunah that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) performed ghusl after janabah, he would first wash his hands, then pour water with his right hand over his left hand and wash his private parts, and rub his hand on the ground to clean it. Then he would perform ablution as for prayer, then pour water over his head and the rest of his body, and after the bath, he would move from that place and wash his feet (because water would collect there).

Hadith Number: 26844
حدثنا وكيع ، قال: حدثنا جعفر بن برقان ، عن يزيد بن الاصم ، عن ميمونة ، قالت:" كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا سجد، جافى حتى يرى من خلفه بياض إبطيه" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Maymunah that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) performed prostration, he would keep his arms so far apart from his sides that the whiteness of his blessed armpits could be seen from behind.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، م: 497
Hadith Number: 26845
حدثنا وكيع ، قال: سمعت الاعمش ، قال: اظن ابا خالد الوالبي ذكره، عن ميمونة بنت الحارث ، قالت: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " الكافر ياكل في سبعة امعاء، والمؤمن ياكل في معى واحد" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Maymunah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: The disbeliever eats with seven intestines, and the believer eats with one intestine.
حكم دارالسلام: صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناد اختلف فيه على الأعمش
Hadith Number: 26846
حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي ، عن سفيان ، عن الشيباني ، عن عبد الله بن شداد ، عن ميمونة , ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كان: " يباشرها وهي حائض فوق الإزار" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Maymunah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to sleep with his wives even when they were menstruating, and there was nothing between them except the cloth that covered from above the knees.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، خ: 303، م: 294
Hadith Number: 26847
حدثنا عبد الرحمن ، عن مالك ، عن الزهري ، عن عبيد الله بن عبد الله ، عن ابن عباس ، عن ميمونة زوج النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم , قالت: إن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم سئل عن فارة وقعت في سمن، قال: " خذوها وما حولها، فالقوه" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Maymunah that once someone asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) about the ruling if a mouse falls into ghee and dies. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: If the ghee is solid, then remove the part (where the mouse fell) and the ghee around it, and then use the remaining ghee.

Hadith Number: 26848
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر , ويحيى بن سعيد , عن شعبة ، قال: حدثني الحكم ، قال: سالت مقسما ، قال: قلت: اوتر بثلاث، ثم اخرج إلى الصلاة مخافة ان تفوتني؟ قال: لا يصلح إلا بخمس او سبع، فاخبرت مجاهدا , ويحيى بن الجزار بقوله , فقالا لي سله، عمن؟ فسالته، فقال: عن الثقة، عن ميمونة , وعائشة , عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم .
Hakam says that I asked Maqsim whether I could pray three rak'ahs of Witr and then go for prayer so that I would not miss the prayer. He replied, "Witr should be five or seven." I mentioned this opinion before Mujahid and Yahya bin Jazaa. They said, "Ask him for the chain of narration." I asked Maqsim for the chain, and he said, "A trustworthy narrator reports this from Hazrat Maymunah and Aisha."
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده ضعيف لإبهام الثقة الراوي عنه مقسم، وقد اختلف فيه على الحكم بن عتيبة
Hadith Number: 26849
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، حدثنا شعبة ، عن سليمان الشيباني ، عن عبد الله بن شداد ، عن خالته ميمونة ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم انه كان: " يصلي على الخمرة" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Maymunah that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray on a mat.
