موطا امام مالك رواية يحييٰ
Muwatta Imam Malik Riwayat Yahya
بَابُ الدَّفْنِ فِي قَبْرٍ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ ضَرُورَةٍ، وَإِنْفَاذِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُ عِدَةَ رَسُولِ اللّٰهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، بَعْدَ وَفَاتِهِ
Chapter on Burial in One Grave Out of Necessity and Abu Bakr Fulfilling the Prophet's Promise After His Death
Hadith Number: 1007B1
قال مالك: لما باس ان يدفن الرجلان والثلاثة في قبر واحد من ضرورة، ويجعل الاكبر مما يلي القبلة
Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, said: If two or three people are buried in one grave out of necessity, there is no harm in it, but the eldest among them should be placed closest to the Qiblah.

Hadith Number: 1008
حدثني، عن حدثني، عن مالك، عن ربيعة بن ابي عبد الرحمن ، انه قال: قدم على ابي بكر الصديق مال من البحرين، فقال: " من كان له عند رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم واي او عدة، فلياتني" فجاءه جابر بن عبد الله، فحفن له ثلاث حفنات
It is narrated from Rabi'ah bin Abi Abdur Rahman that wealth came to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) from Bahrain. He announced that whoever the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had promised to give something should come to us. Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) came, so Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) gave him three handfuls.
