نا القاسم بن إسماعيل، نا العباس بن محمد، نا محمد بن مصعب، قال: سمعت الاوزاعي، يقول:" عندنا هاهنا امراة تحيض غدوة، وتطهر عشية" .
Al-Awza'i says: There is a woman among us who gets her menses in the morning and becomes pure in the evening.

نا علي بن محمد المصري، نا إسماعيل بن محمود النيسابوري، حدثني عمر بن المتوكل، حدثني احمد بن موسى الضبي، حدثني عباد بن عباد المهلبي، قال:" ادركت فينا يعني المهالبة امراة صارت جدة، وهي بنت ثمان عشرة سنة، ولدت لتسع سنين ابنة، فولدت ابنتها لتسع سنين، فصارت هي جدة، وهي بنت ثمان عشرة سنة" .
‘Ubadah bin ‘Abbad al-Muhallabi reports: In our Muhallab tribe, there is a woman who became a grandmother at the age of eighteen. She gave birth to a daughter at the age of nine, and her daughter also gave birth to her own daughter at the age of nine. Thus, that woman became a grandmother at the age of eighteen.

نا نا ابو بكر الشافعي ، نا محمد بن شاذان ، نا معلى بن منصور ، نا ابن إدريس، عن الشيباني، عن بحرية بنت هانئ بن قبيصة، قالت:" زوجت نفسي القعقاع بن شور ، وبات عندي ليلة، وجاء ابي من الاعراب فاستعدى عليا ، وجاءت رسله فانطلقوا به إليه، فقال: ادخلت بها؟، قال: نعم، فاجاز النكاح" .
Bahriyah bint Hani bin Qabisah narrates: I married Qa‘qa‘ bin Sur. He stayed with me for one night, then my father, who was a villager, presented the case before Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). The messenger of Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came and took him to Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) inquired: "Have you had intercourse with this woman?" He replied: "Yes." Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) upheld the marriage.

نا نا ابو بكر الشافعي ، نا محمد بن شاذان ، نا معلى بن منصور ، نا ابو عوانة، عن الشيباني، عن بحرية بنت هانئ الاعور انه سمعها، تقول:" زوجها ابوها رجلا وهو نصراني، وزوجت نفسها القعقاع بن شور ، فجاء ابوها إلى علي رضي الله عنه، فارسل إليها ووجد القعقاع قد بات عندها، وقد اغتسل فجئ به إلى علي، وإن عليه خلوقا، فقال ابوها:" فضحتني والله ما اردت هذا، قال: اترى بنائي يكون سرا، فارتفعوا إلى علي رضي الله عنه، فقال: دخلت بها؟، قال: نعم، فاجاز نكاحها" ، بحرية مجهولة.
Bahriyah bint Hani bin Qabisah narrates: Her father married her to a man who was a Christian. This woman herself married Qa‘qa‘ bin Sur. The girl's father came to Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) called Qa‘qa‘, and at that time he had already had intercourse with the woman and performed ghusl. He was brought before Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), and there was a yellow mark on him. The girl's father said: "You have disgraced me; I did not want this." Qa‘qa‘ replied: "Do you think I married in secret?" They presented their case before Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), so Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) asked: "Have you had intercourse with this woman?" He replied: "Yes." So Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) considered it valid for the woman to marry herself. The woman named Bahriyah is unknown.

نا نا ابو بكر الشافعي، نا محمد بن شاذان، نا معلى، نا ابن لهيعة ، عن عبيد الله بن ابي جعفر ، عن نافع، عن ابن عمر ، قال:" إذا كان ولي المراة مضارا فولت رجلا فانكحها، فنكاحه جائر" .
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "When a woman's guardian is harmful and the woman appoints another person as her guardian, and he conducts her marriage, then the marriage conducted by him will be valid."

نا نا محمد بن مخلد ، نا حماد بن الحسن ، نا ابو داود، نا شعبة، عن الشيباني، قال:" كان فينا امراة، يقال لها: بحرية زوجتها امها وابوها غائب، فلما قدم ابوها انكر ذلك، فرفع ذلك إلى علي بن ابي طالب ،" فاجاز النكاح" ،.
Shaibani narrates: There was a woman in our (neighborhood or tribe) whose name was Bahriyah. Her mother married her off while her father was not present at that time. When her father came, he refused this relationship. She presented this matter before Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), so Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) upheld this marriage.
