بَابُ تَعْجِيلِهِمَا أَوَّلَ الْوَقْتِ وَالضَّجْعَةِ بَعْدَهَا
Chapter on Performing Them Early and Lying Down After
Hadith Number: 2110
عن عبد الله بن عمرو (بن العاص رضي الله عنه) ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم كان إذا ركع ركعتي الفجر اضطجع على شقه الايمن
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform the two rak'ahs of Fajr, he would lie down on his right side.

بَابُ اسْتِحْبَابِ الْفَصْلِ بَيْنَ صَلَاةِ الْفَرْضِ وَرَاتِبَتِهِ
Chapter on the Recommendation to Separate Obligatory Prayer and Its Sunnah
Hadith Number: 2111
عن عبد الله بن رباح عن رجل من اصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم صلى العصر فقام رجل يصلي، فرآه عمر فقال له: اجلس، فإنما هلك اهل الكتاب انه لم يكن لصلاتهم فصل، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: ((احسن ابن الخطاب))
A companion (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) led the Asr prayer. After that, a man immediately stood up and began to pray. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) saw him and said: Sit down, the People of the Book were destroyed only because there was no interval in their prayers. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Ibn Khattab has done well.
