It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who gives it, those who bear witness to it, the one who writes about it, the one who joins hair for the sake of beauty and the one for whom it is joined, the one who does not pay zakat, the one who performs halalah and the one for whom halalah is performed.
