الْفَضْلُ الثَّالِثُ فِي فَضْلٍ عَمَّانَ وَعَدَنَ وَأَهْلِهَا
The third section regarding the virtue of Oman, Aden, and their people
Hadith Number: 12747
عن الحسن بن هادية قال لقيت ابن عمر قال إسحاق فقال لي ممن انت قلت من اهل عمان قال من اهل عمان قلت نعم قال افلا احدثك ما سمعت من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قلت بلى فقال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يقول ”إني لاعلم ارضا يقال لها عمان ينضح بجانبها (وقال إسحاق بناحيتها) البحر الحجة منها افضل من حجتين من غيرها“
It is narrated from Hasan bin Hadiyah, he says: I met Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), he said to me: From which people are you? I said: I am from the people of Oman. He said: From the people of Oman? I said: Yes! He said: Shall I narrate to you a hadith I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? I said: Please do. He said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I know of a place called Oman, by the side of which flows the sea; performing one Hajj from there is better than performing two Hajj from other places.

Hadith Number: 12748
وعن ابي برزة يقول بعث رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم رجلا إلى حي من احياء العرب فضربوه وسبوه فرجع إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم فشكا ذلك إليه فقال له النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ”لو اهل عمان اتيت ما ضربوك ولا سبوك“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Barzah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent a man as a representative to an Arab tribe. The people of that tribe beat him and spoke harshly to him. When he returned and complained to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the Prophet said: "If you had gone to the people of Oman, they would neither have beaten you nor spoken harshly to you."

Hadith Number: 12749
عن ابن عباس قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ”يخرج من عدن ابين اثنا عشر الفا ينصرون الله ورسوله هم خير من بيني وبينهم“ قال لي معمر اذهب فاساله عن هذا الحديث
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Twelve thousand people will emerge from Aden Abyan who will help Allah and His Messenger. Among all the people between me and them, they will be the most virtuous. Mu'ammar said to me: Go and ask about this hadith.

The fourth section regarding what has come about some tribes of Yemen
Hadith Number: 12750
عن ابي ثور الفهمي قال كنا عند رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يوما فاتي بثوب من ثياب المعافر فقال ابو سفيان لعن الله هذا الثوب ولعن من يعمل له فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ”لا تلعنهم فإنهم مني وانا منهم“ قال إسحاق ولعن الله من يعمله
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Thawr Fahmi (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: One day we were present in the service of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when a garment made by the Mu'afir tribe of Yemen was presented to him. Sayyiduna Abu Sufyan said: May Allah's curse be on this garment and on its maker. But the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not curse them; they are mine and I am theirs.

عن عمرو بن عبسة السلمي قال صلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم على السكون والسكاسك وعلى خولان العالية وعلى الاملوك املوك ردمان
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amr bin Abasah Aslami, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed for mercy for the Yemeni tribes of Sakoon, Sakasik, Khawlan-e-Aliyah, and Amluk Radman.

The fourth chapter regarding what has come about Wuj, a valley between Taif and Mecca
Hadith Number: 12752
عن الزبير رضي الله عنه قال اقبلنا مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم من لية حتى إذا كنا عند السدرة وقف رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم في طرف القرن الاسود حذوها فاستقبل نخبا ببصره يعني واديا وقف حتى اتفق الناس كلهم ثم قال ”إن صيد وج وعضاهه حرم محرم لله“ وذلك قبل نزوله الطائف وحصاره ثقيف
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: We were returning from Liyah in the company of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). When we reached near a lote tree, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood at the corner of a small black mountain opposite the lote tree and looked attentively towards a valley and remained there until all the people gathered. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The game and bushes of the valley of Wajj are also sacred and have been made forbidden for people for the sake of Allah. This incident took place before your siege of Ta’if and Thaqif.

The fifth chapter regarding what has come about the people of Persia and the city of Marw from the regions of Khurasan
Hadith Number: 12753
عن ابي هريرة قال سمعته يقول قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ”لو كان العلم بالثريا لتناوله اناس من ابناء فارس“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: If knowledge were near the Pleiades stars, even then the people of Persia would surely acquire it.

وعنه من طريق اخر قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ”لو كان الذي عند الثريا لذهب رجل من فارس او ابناء فارس حتى يتناوله“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: If the religion were at the Pleiades stars, even then a man from Persia or the people of Persia would surely go and acquire it.

Hadith Number: 12755
عن بريدة الاسلمي قال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يقول ”ستكون بعدي بعوث كثيرة فكونوا في بعث خراسان ثم انزلوا مدينة مرو فإنه بناها ذو القرنين ودعا لها بالبركة ولا يضر اهلها سوء“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Buraidah Aslami, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: After me, many armies will be dispatched; strive to be part of the army that goes towards Khurasan and reside in the city of Marw, for Dhu al-Qarnayn built this city and prayed for its blessing. No evil thing can harm the people of this place.

The sixth chapter regarding what has come about Egypt and the western region
Hadith Number: 12756
عن ابي ذر قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ”إنكم ستفتحون مصر وهي ارض يسمى فيها القيراط فإذا فتحتموها فاحسنوا إلى اهلها فإن لهم ذمة ورحما او قال ذمة وصهرا فإذا رايت رجلين يختصمان فيها في موضع لبنة فاخرج منها“ قال فرايت عبد الرحمن بن شرحبيل بن حسنة واخاه ربيعة يختصمان في موضع لبنة فخرجت منها
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Soon you will conquer Egypt, it is the land where the qirat is used. When you conquer it, treat its people well, for they have protection and they have a relationship of kinship with me. And when you see two men there fighting over a piece of land as small as a brick, then leave that place. I saw Sharjeel bin Hasanah and his brother Rabee’ah fighting over a piece of land as small as a brick, so I left that place.
