Al-Fath al-Rabbani
الْبَابُ الثَّانِي مِقْدَارُ الْأُمَّةِ الْمُحَمَّدِيَّةِ فِي الْأُمَمِ الْأُخْرَى وَأَنَّهَا ثُلُنَا أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ
The second chapter regarding the status of the Muhammadan nation among other nations and that they are a third of the people of Paradise
Hadith Number: 12487
عن عمرو بن ميمون عن عبد الله قال كنا مع النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم في قبة نحو من اربعين فقال ”اترضون ان تكونوا ربع اهل الجنة“ قلنا نعم قال ”اترضون ان تكونوا ثلث اهل الجنة“ قلنا نعم قال ”والذي نفسي بيده إني لارجو ان تكونوا نصف اهل الجنة وذاك ان الجنة لا يدخلها إلا نفس مسلمة وما انتم في الشرك إلا كالشعرة البيضاء في جلد ثور اسود او السوداء في جلد ثور احمر“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: We were about forty men with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a tent. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Are you pleased that you will be a fourth of the people of Paradise? We said: Yes. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Are you pleased that your number will be a third of the people of Paradise? We said: Yes! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: By Him in Whose hand is my soul, I hope that half of the people of Paradise will be you, because only those will enter Paradise who are Muslims, and in comparison to the polytheists, your number is like a white hair on the skin of a black ox or a black hair on the skin of a red ox.

Hadith Number: 12488
وعنه ايضا قال قال لنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ”كيف انتم وربع اهل الجنة لكم ربعها ولسائر الناس ثلاثة ارباعها“ قالوا الله ورسوله اعلم قال ”فكيف انتم وثلثها“ قالوا فذاك اكثر قال ”فكيف انتم والشطر“ قالوا فذلك اكثر فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ”اهل الجنة يوم القيامة عشرون ومائة صف انتم منها ثمانون صفا“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: What will be your condition at that time, when you will be one fourth of the people in Paradise, a full quarter of Paradise only for you, and the remaining three quarters for all the other communities? The companions said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: What will your condition be at that time, when you will be one third of the people in Paradise? The companions said: Then we will be even more than before. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, the people of Paradise will be in one hundred and twenty rows, out of which eighty rows will be yours.

Hadith Number: 12489
وعن بريدة الاسلمي قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ”اهل الجنة عشرون ومائة صف منهم ثمانون من هذه الامة“ وقال عفان مرة ”انتم منهم ثمانون صفا“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Buraidah Aslami, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The people of Paradise will be in one hundred and twenty rows, of which eighty rows will be from my Ummah.

Hadith Number: 12491
عن جابر انه سمع النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يقول ”ارجو ان يكون من يتبعني من امتي يوم القيامة ربع اهل الجنة“ قال فكبرنا ثم قال ”ارجو ان يكونوا ثلث الناس“ قال فكبرنا ثم قال ”ارجو ان يكونوا الشطر“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, that he heard the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: I hope that those who follow me from my Ummah will be one fourth of all the people of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection. Sayyiduna Jabir, may Allah be pleased with him, says: Upon hearing this, we said Allahu Akbar with joy. Then the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: I hope that my followers will be one third of the people of Paradise. Upon hearing this, we again said Allahu Akbar with joy. Then the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: I hope that my followers will be half of the total number of the people of Paradise.

Hadith Number: 12492
عن ابي الدرداء عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال ”إن الله تعالى يقول يوم القيامة لآدم عليه السلام قم فجهز من ذريتك تسع مائة وتسعة وتسعين إلى النار وواحدا إلى الجنة“ فبكى اصحابه وبكوا ثم قال لهم رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ”ارفعوا رءوسكم فوالذي نفسي بيده ما امتي في الامم إلا كالشعرة البيضاء في جلد الثور الاسود“ فخفف ذلك عنهم
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Darda’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: On the Day of Resurrection, Allah Almighty will say to Adam (peace be upon him):“Rise and separate from your progeny nine hundred and ninety-nine out of every thousand for Hell and one for Paradise.”Upon hearing this, all the noble Companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) began to weep. After this, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said to them:“Raise your heads! By Him in Whose hand is my soul! In comparison to other communities, the example of my community is like a white hair on the skin of a black ox.”Upon hearing this, the grief of the Companions was somewhat alleviated.

Hadith Number: 12493
عن ابي هريرة ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال ”اول من يدعى يوم القيامة آدم فيقال هذا ابوكم آدم فيقول يا رب لبيك وسعديك فيقول له ربنا اخرج نصيب جهنم من ذريتك فيقول يا رب وكم فيقول من كل مائة تسعة وتسعين“ فقلنا يا رسول الله ارايت إذا اخذ منا من كل مائة تسعة وتسعون فماذا يبقى منا قال ”إن امتي في الامم كالشعرة البيضاء في الثور الاسود“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: On the Day of Resurrection, Adam (peace be upon him) will be brought first and it will be said: This is your father Adam (peace be upon him). Adam (peace be upon him) will say: O my Lord! I am present. Then our Lord will say to him: Separate the portion of Hell from your offspring. He will say: O my Lord! How much is the portion? Allah Almighty will say: Ninety-nine out of every hundred. We said: O Messenger of Allah! If ninety-nine out of every hundred are taken out, then how many of us will remain to enter Paradise? He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: In comparison to the other communities, my community will be like a white hair on the skin of a black bull.

الْبَابُ الثَّالِثُ فِي بَقَاءِ طَائِفَةٍ مِنَ الْأُمَّةِ الْمُحَمَّدِيَّةِ ثابِتَةِ عَلَى الْحَقِّ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ
The third chapter regarding the persistence of a group from the Muhammadan nation firmly upon the truth until the Day of Resurrection
Hadith Number: 12494
عن ابي امامة قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ”لا تزال طائفة من امتي على الحق ظاهرين لعدوهم قاهرين لا يضرهم من خالفهم إلا ما اصابهم من لاواء حتى ياتيهم امر الله وهم كذلك“ قالوا يا رسول الله واين هم قال ”ببيت المقدس واكناف بيت المقدس“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A group from my Ummah will remain steadfast on the religion and dominant over their enemies until the Day of Judgment. Those who oppose them will not be able to harm them in any way, except that they may face some economic hardship, until the command of Allah comes while they are in that state. The Companions asked: O Messenger of Allah! Where will they be? He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: They will be in Bayt al-Maqdis and its surrounding areas.

Hadith Number: 12495
وعن معاوية بن ابي سفيان ان النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال ”من يرد الله به خيرا يفقهه في الدين ولا تزال عصابة من المسلمين يقاتلون على الحق ظاهرين على من ناواهم إلى يوم القيامة“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When Allah intends good for a servant, He grants him understanding of the religion. A group from among the Muslims will always fight for the truth, and they will remain dominant over their opponents until the Day of Resurrection.

Hadith Number: 12496
عن معاوية بن ابي سفيان ذكر حديثا رواه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم لم اسمعه روى عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم حديثا غيره ان النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال ”من يرد الله به خيرا يفقهه في الدين ولا تزال عصابة من المسلمين يقاتلون على الحق ظاهرين على من ناواهم إلى يوم القيامة“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When corruption appears among the people of Syria, there will be no good left among the Muslims. A group from my Ummah will always remain, whom Allah will continue to help. Those who oppose them will not be able to harm them in any way, until the Day of Resurrection is established.
