Sunan Saeed bin Mansur
الْآيَةُ (85) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {فَقَالُوا عَلَى اللهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا رَبَّنَا لا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ}
Verse (85) His saying, Exalted is He: {So they said, "Upon Allah do we rely. Our Lord, make us not [objects of] trial for the wrongdoing people"}
Hadith Number: 1071
نا نا سفيان، عن إبراهيم بن ميسرة، عن طاوس، قال: كنا مع ابن عباس " فابترك رجل من الامراء، يقال له الهزهاز، فتطاول حتى ما رايت في البيت اطول منه، فقال له ابن عباس: يا هزهاز، لا تكن فتنة للقوم الظالمين، فتقاصر حتى ما رايت في البيت احدا اقصر منه" .
We were with Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) when a leader came who was called Al-Hazhaz. He sat arrogantly until I had not seen anyone taller than him in the house. So Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said to him: O Hazhaz! «لَا تَكُنْ فِتْنَةً لِلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ» that is, do not become a trial for the wrongdoing people. So he shrank until I had not seen anyone smaller than him in the house.

الْآيَةُ (87) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى مُوسَى وَأَخِيهِ أَنْ تَبَوَّآ لِقَوْمِكُمَا بِمِصْرَ بُيُوتًا وَاجْعَلُوا بُيُوتَكُمْ قِبْلَةً}
Verse (87) His saying, Exalted is He: {And We inspired to Moses and his brother, "Settle your people in Egypt in houses and make your houses [facing the] qiblah"}
Hadith Number: 1072
نا سفيان، عن ابن ابي نجيح، عن مجاهد، في قوله عز وجل: واجعلوا بيوتكم قبلة سورة يونس آية 87 , قال:" كانوا لا يصلون إلا في البيع، فقيل لهم: صلوا في بيوتكم من مخافة فرعون" .
Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said regarding the interpretation of Allah the Exalted’s statement:“And make your houses a qiblah,”that those people, meaning the Children of Israel, used to pray only in churches, so it was said to them: Due to the fear of Pharaoh, pray in your houses.

Hadith Number: 1073
نا جرير، عن منصور، عن إبراهيم، قال: " خافوا , فامروا ان يصلوا في بيوتهم" .
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: When the Children of Israel became fearful, they were commanded to pray in their homes.

Hadith Number: 1074
نا جرير، عن منصور، قال: " كان ناس مختبئين في زمن الحجاج في علية عن يمين المسجد فوق بيت، وكانوا يصلون مع الإمام المكتوبة وياتمون به، فسالت إبراهيم عن ذلك، فقال: يجزئهم" .
Mansur (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Some people during the time of Hajjaj were hiding in an upper room on the right side of the mosque; they would perform the obligatory prayer with the Imam and follow him. So I asked Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) about this, and he said: Their prayer is valid.

الْآيَتَانِ (88 - 89) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَقَالَ مُوسَى رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ آتَيْتَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلأَهُ زِينَةً وَأَمْوَالا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: {قَالَ قَدْ أُجِيبَتْ دَعْوَتُكُمَا فَاسْتَقِيمَا وَلا تَتَّبِعَانِّ سَبِيلَ الَّذِينَ لا يَعْلَمُونَ}
Verses (88 - 89) His saying, Exalted is He: {And Moses said, "Our Lord, indeed You have given Pharaoh and his establishment splendor and wealth in the worldly life"} to His saying: {He said, "The supplication of you both has been accepted, so remain on a right course and do not follow the way of those who do not know"}
Hadith Number: 1075
نا ابو معشر، عن محمد بن كعب، قال: وقال موسى ربنا إنك آتيت فرعون وملاه زينة واموالا في الحياة الدنيا سورة يونس آية 88 إلى قوله: العذاب الاليم سورة يونس آية 88 , قال الله عز وجل: قد اجيبت دعوتكما سورة يونس آية 89، قال: " كان موسى يدعو وهارون يؤمن، والداعي والمؤمن شريكان" .
Muhammad bin Ka'b, may Allah have mercy on him, said: When Musa (peace be upon him) said: ﴿And Musa said, "Our Lord, indeed You have given Pharaoh and his chiefs adornment and wealth in the worldly life"﴾—that is, O our Lord! You have granted Pharaoh and his chiefs adornment and wealth in the life of this world—up to ﴿the painful punishment﴾, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, said: ﴿Your supplication has been answered﴾—that is, the supplication of both of you has been accepted. He said: Our master Musa (peace be upon him) would supplicate and our master Harun (peace be upon him) would say "Ameen", and both the one who supplicates and the one who says "Ameen" are partners in the supplication.

الْآيَةُ (94) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {فَإِنْ كُنْتَ فِي شَكٍّ مِمَّا أَنْـزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ فَاسْأَلِ الَّذِينَ يَقْرَءُونَ الْكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ}
Verse (94) His saying, Exalted is He: {So if you are in doubt, [O Muhammad], about that which We have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Scripture before you}
Hadith Number: 1076
نا ابو عوانة، عن ابي بشر، عن سعيد بن جبير، في قوله: فإن كنت في شك مما انزلنا إليك فاسال الذين يقرءون الكتاب من قبلك سورة يونس آية 94 قال: " ما شك ولا سال" .
Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) regarding the verse: "So if you are in doubt about what We have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Book before you" said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) neither doubted nor asked.

Hadith Number: 1077
نا هشيم، عن ابي بشر، عن سعيد بن جبير، ومنصور، عن الحسن، قالا: " لم يشك ولم يسال" .
Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) and Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) neither doubted nor asked.

بَابُ تَفْسِيرِ سُورَةِ هُودٍ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ الْآيَةُ (5) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {أَلا إِنَّهُمْ يَثْنُونَ صُدُورَهُمْ لِيَسْتَخْفُوا مِنْهُ أَلا حِينَ يَسْتَغْشُونَ ثِيَابَهُمْ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ}
Chapter: Interpretation of Surah Hud (peace be upon him), Verse (5) His saying, Exalted is He: {Unquestionably, they fold up their breasts to hide [their intentions] from Him. Unquestionably, [even] when they cover themselves with their clothing, He knows what they conceal and what they declare}
Hadith Number: 1078
نا هشيم، عن حصين، عن عبد الله بن شداد، في قوله عز وجل: الا إنهم يثنون صدورهم ليستخفوا منه سورة هود آية 5 , قال:" كان احدهم إذا مر برسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، ثنا صدره، وتغشى بثوبه، لكي لا يراه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم" .
Abdullah bin Shaddad (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Regarding the statement of Allah, the Exalted, ﴿Ala innahum yathnoona sudoorahum liyastakhfoo minhu﴾, meaning: Listen! They fold up their chests so that they may hide from Allah—he said: When any of them would pass by the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he would contract his chest and cover himself with his garment so that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would not see him.

Hadith Number: 1079
نا نا سفيان، عن عمرو بن دينار، عن ابن عباس ، وحميد الاعرج، عن مجاهد،" انهما كانا يقرآن: الا إنهم يثنوني صدورهم ليستخفوا منه الا حين يستغشون" .
Both Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) and Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) used to recite this verse as: «أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ يَثْنُونَ صُدُورَهُمْ لِيَسْتَخْفُوا مِنْهُ أَلَا حِينَ يَسْتَغْشُونَ» meaning: Listen! They fold their chests so that they may hide from Allah. Beware! When they cover themselves with their garments.
تخریج الحدیث: «أخرجه البخاري فى (صحيحه) برقم: 4683، وسعيد بن منصور فى (سننه) برقم: 1079»
الْآيَةُ (6) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَمَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ فِي الأَرْضِ إِلا عَلَى اللهِ رِزْقُهَا وَيَعْلَمُ مُسْتَقَرَّهَا وَمُسْتَوْدَعَهَا كُلٌّ فِي كِتَابٍ مُبِينٍ}
Verse (6) His saying, Exalted is He: {And there is no creature on earth but that upon Allah is its provision, and He knows its place of dwelling and place of storage. All is in a clear register}
Hadith Number: 1080
نا هشيم، قال: نا ابو معشر، عن محمد بن كعب، في قوله عز وجل: ويعلم مستقرها ومستودعها سورة هود آية 6 , قال: " مستقرها في الرحم وفي الارض، ومستودعها في الصلب وفي الارض إذا دفن" .
Muhammad bin Ka'b, may Allah have mercy on him, regarding the statement of Allah the Exalted: ﴿And He knows its dwelling place and its deposit﴾, that is, "And He knows its dwelling place and the place where it is entrusted," said: The dwelling place is in the womb and in the earth, and the place of deposit is in the loins and in the earth when it is buried.
