Sunan Saeed bin Mansur
الْآيَةُ (29) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ طُوبَى لَهُمْ وَحُسْنُ مَآبٍ}
Verse (29) His saying, Exalted is He: {Those who have believed and done righteous deeds—a good state is theirs and a good return}
Hadith Number: 1171
نا خلف بن خليفة ، عن حميد الاعرج ، عن عبد الله بن الحارث ، عن ابن مسعود ، قال: قال لي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إنك لتنظر إلى الطير فتشتهيه فيخر بين يديك مشويا فتاكل منه" .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You will see a bird and desire to eat it, and it will fall roasted before you, and you will eat it.

الْآيَةُ (31) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَلَوْ أَنَّ قُرْآنًا سُيِّرَتْ بِهِ الْجِبَالُ أَوْ قُطِّعَتْ بِهِ الأَرْضُ أَوْ كُلِّمَ بِهِ الْمَوْتَى بَلْ لِلهِ الأَمْرُ جَمِيعًا أَفَلَمْ يَيْأَسِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنْ لَوْ يَشَاءُ اللهُ لَهَدَى النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَلا يَزَالُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا تُصِيبُهُمْ بِمَا صَنَعُوا قَارِعَةٌ أَوْ تَحُلُّ قَرِيبًا مِنْ دَارِهِمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ وَعْدُ اللهِ إِنَّ اللهَ لا يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ}
Verse (31) His saying, Exalted is He: {And if there was any Qur'an by which the mountains would be removed or the earth would be broken apart or the dead would be made to speak, [it would be this Qur'an], but to Allah belongs the affair entirely. Then have those who believed not accepted that had Allah willed, He would have guided the people, all of them? And those who disbelieve—disaster will not cease to strike them for what they have done or will settle near their home until the promise of Allah comes. Indeed, Allah does not fail in [His] promise}
Hadith Number: 1172
نا خالد بن عبد الله، عن حنظلة السدوسي، قال: قرات عند عكرمة: افلم ييئس الذين كفروا , فقال: اما هي: فليتبين الذين آمنوا , قال: فذكرت ذلك لشهر بن حوشب، فقال:" صدق، ردني عليه ابن عباس" .
I recited this verse to Ikrimah (may Allah have mercy on him): ﴿Afa lam yay’asi alladhina kafaru﴾, so he said: This is ﴿Falyatabayyan alladhina amanu﴾. Then I mentioned this to Shahr bin Hawshab (may Allah have mercy on him), and he said: He spoke the truth, Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) had referred me to this as well.

Hadith Number: 1173
نا حماد بن زيد، عن ابن ابي نجيح، عن مجاهد، في قوله: ولا يزال الذين كفروا تصيبهم بما صنعوا قارعة او تحل قريبا من دارهم سورة الرعد آية 31 , قال:" انت تحل قريبا من دارهم" .
Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said:“And those who disbelieve will continue to be struck, because of what they have done, by a calamity or it will descend near their homes”(__QUR_N__). That is, you will camp near their homes.

الْآيَةُ (41) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا نَأْتِي الأَرْضَ نَنْقُصُهَا مِنْ أَطْرَافِهَا وَاللهُ يَحْكُمُ لا مُعَقِّبَ لِحُكْمِهِ وَهُوَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ}
Verse (41) His saying, Exalted is He: {Do they not see that We come to the earth reducing it from its edges? And Allah decides; there is no adjuster of His decision. And He is swift in account}
Hadith Number: 1174
نا حماد بن زيد، عن ابن ابي نجيح، عن مجاهد، في قوله عز وجل: اولم يروا انا ناتي الارض ننقصها من اطرافها سورة الرعد آية 41، قال:" النقصان" .
Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said:“Have they not seen that We are coming to the land, reducing it from its borders?”That is, there is a decrease in the land.

Hadith Number: 1175
نا هشيم، نا جويبر، عن الضحاك، قال: " او لم يروا انا نفتح لمحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم الارض بعد الارض، افهم الغالبون؟ بل الله ورسوله هم الغالبون" .
Dhahhak (may Allah have mercy on him) said:“Have they not seen that We come to the land, reducing it from its borders?”That is, do these people not see that Allah grants victory to Muhammad (peace be upon him) over one land after another? Will they be victorious? No, rather Allah and His Messenger alone will be victorious.

Hadith Number: 1176
نا خالد بن عبد الله، عن حصين، عن ابي مالك، في قوله عز وجل: اولم يروا انا ناتي الارض ننقصها من اطرافها سورة الرعد آية 41 , قال:" القرية تخرب ناحية منها" .
Abu Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) said:“Or do they not see that We come to the land, reducing it from its borders?”— that is, the destruction of one side of a settlement.

الْآيَةُ (43) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَسْتَ مُرْسَلا قُلْ كَفَى بِاللهِ شَهِيدًا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ وَمَنْ عِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ الْكِتَابِ}
Verse (43) His saying, Exalted is He: {And those who disbelieve say, "You are not a messenger." Say, "Sufficient is Allah as Witness between me and you, and [the witness of] whoever has knowledge of the Scripture"}
Hadith Number: 1177
نا ابو عوانة، عن ابي بشر، قال: سالت سعيد بن جبير، عن قوله عز وجل: ومن عنده علم الكتاب سورة الرعد آية 43 اهو عبد الله بن سلام؟ , فقال:" وكيف وهذه السورة مكية؟ وكان سعيد بن جبير يقرا: ومن عنده علم الكتاب سورة الرعد آية 43" .
Abu Bishr (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I asked Sa'id bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) about the verse: "And he who has knowledge of the Book" — is this referring to Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him)? He replied: How can that be, when this surah is Makki? And Sa'id bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) used to recite it as: "And he who has knowledge of the Book."
