Anas narrated [regarding Allah, Most High’s saying] ‘Verily We have granted you Al-Kauthar’ (108:1) that the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said:`“It is a river in Paradise.”He said:“The Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: ‘I saw a river in Paradise, whose banks had tents were made of pearl.
Anas narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:`“While I was traveling through Paradise, a river appeared before me whose banks had tents of pearl. I said to the angel: ‘What is this?’ He said: ‘This is Al-Kauthar, which Allah has granted you.’”He said:“Then he put his hand in the clay, and removed musk from it, then I was raised up to Sidrat Al-Muntaha so I saw a magnificent light at it.”

`Abdullah bin `Umar narrated that: the Messenger of Allah said:“Al-Kauthar is a river in Paradise, whose banks are of gold, and it flows over pearls and corundum. Its dirt is purer than musk, and its water is sweeter than honey and whiter than milk.”

Ibn Abbas said:`“Umar used to ask me questions in front of the Companions of the Prophet. So Abdur-Rahman bin Awf said to him: ‘Why do you ask him, while we have children like him?’”He said:“Umar said to him: ‘It is because of what you know (about him).’ So he asked him about this Ayah: ‘When there comes the help of Allah and the Conquest.’ I said:“It is only regarding the (end of the) life span of the Messenger of Allah, informing him of it.”Then he recited the Surat until its end. So Umar said to him:“By Allah! I know not about it, but what you know.”

Ibn Abbas narrated:`“One day the Messenger of Allah ascended As-Safa and called out: ‘O people! Come at once!’ So the Quraish gathered before him. He said: ‘I am a warner for you before the coming of a severe punishment. Do you think that if I informed you that the enemy was preparing to attack you in the evening or in the morning, would you believe me?’ So Abu Lahab said: ‘Is it for this that you gathered us? May you perish?’ So Allah, Blessed is He and Most High, revealed: Perish the hands of Abu Lahad, perish he.”

Abu Al-Aliyah narrated from Ubayy bin Ka’b:`“The idolaters were saying to the Messenger of Allah: ‘Name the lineage of your Lord for us.’ So Allah, Most High, revealed: Say:“He is Allah, the One. Allah As-Samad.”So As-Samad is ‘the One Who does not beget, nor is He begotten,’ because there is nothing born except it will die, and there is nothing that dies except that it will be inherited from, and verily. Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, does not die, nor is He inherited from. ‘And there is none comparable to Him.’ He said: ‘There is nothing similar to Him, nor equal to Him, nor is there anything like Him.’”

Abu Al-Aliyah narrated:`“The Prophet mentioned their (the idolater’s) gods, so they said: ‘Then name your Lord’s lineage for us.’”He said:“So Jibril, peace be upon him, came to him with this Surat: Say:“He is Allah, the One.”So he mentioned similarly, but he did not say in it:“From Ubayy bin Ka’b.”And this is more correct than the narration of Abu Sa’eed (no. 3364). Abu Sa’eed’s name is Muhammad bin Muyassar.

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When Allah created Adam (peace be upon him) and breathed the soul into him, he sneezed. He wanted to say «الحمد لله» , so with Allah’s permission he said «الحمد لله» (All praise is due to Allah). Then his Lord said to him: May Allah have mercy on you, O Adam! Go to that assembly and group of angels sitting there and say to them: 'As-salamu alaikum.' He went and said: 'As-salamu alaikum.' The angels replied: 'Wa alaika as-salam wa rahmatullah.' Then he returned to his Lord, and Allah said: This is the way of greeting and supplication between you and your descendants. Then Allah closed both His fists and said to Adam: Choose whichever of these you wish. He (the narrator) says: I chose the right hand of my Lord, and in reality, both the hands of my Lord are right and blessed. Then He opened His fist, and in it were Adam and his descendants. Adam (peace be upon him) asked: O my Lord, who are these people? He said: These are all your descendants, and the age of each one is written between his eyes. Among them was one with the brightest face. Adam (peace be upon him) asked: O my Lord, who is this? He said: This is your son Dawud. I have written his age as forty years. Adam (peace be upon him) said: O my Lord! Increase his age. Allah said: His age has already been written. Adam (peace be upon him) said: O my Lord! I give him sixty years from my own age. Allah said: You and he know best. Very well. Then Adam (peace be upon him) remained in Paradise as long as Allah willed. Then Adam (peace be upon him) was expelled from Paradise. Adam (peace be upon him) began to count the days of his life. The Angel of Death came to him, and Adam (peace be upon him) said to him: You have come early; my age was written as a thousand years. The Angel of Death said: Yes (that is correct), but you gave sixty years of your life to your son Dawud. But he denied it. As a result and effect of this denial by Adam (peace be upon him), his descendants also began to deny. Adam (peace be upon him) forgot, and his descendants also began to forget. From that day, it was decreed that all matters should be written down and witnesses should be appointed."
Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Gharib with this chain.
2- This hadith has also been narrated by Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) through several other chains, and Zaid bin Aslam has narrated this hadith of Abu Hurairah by the route of: «أبي صالح عن أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم» .
