Explanation of Good Character
Hadith Number: 458
And with the same chain (it is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her), she said: Whenever the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was given a choice between two matters, he would choose the easier of the two, as long as it was not sinful (unlawful). But if it was a sinful matter, he would be the farthest from it. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, never took revenge for himself from anyone, except when the sanctities of Allah were violated, in which case he would take revenge for the sake of Allah.

Etiquette of Gatherings
Hadith Number: 459
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Waqid Al-Laythi (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting in the mosque and people were with him, when suddenly a group of three men came. Two of them came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and one went back. When those two came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), they both greeted him with salam. Then one of them saw a little space in the gathering and sat there, and the other sat at the end of the people, and the third turned away and left. When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) finished (his sermon or lesson), he said: "Shall I not tell you about these three men? One of them sought a place from Allah, so Allah gave him a place; the second felt shy, so Allah was shy with him; and the third turned away, so Allah turned away from him."

Hadith Number: 460
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Shurayh al-Ka‘bi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should honor his guest. The best hospitality for a guest is for one day and one night, and hospitality is for three days. Whatever is beyond that is charity. And it is not permissible for the guest to stay with the host for so long that the host becomes distressed."

Hadith Number: 461
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bilal bin Al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A person utters a word that pleases Allah, without realizing that it is so meritorious; as a result of that word, Allah records His pleasure for him until the Day he meets Him. And a person utters a word that angers Allah, without realizing how sinful it is; as a result of that word, Allah records His displeasure for him until the Day he meets Him."

Condemnation of suspicion, spying, and backbiting
Hadith Number: 462
It is narrated from Nabiha bin Wahb (Tabi'i) that Umar bin Ubaidullah sent a message to Aban bin Uthman (bin Affan) that I want to marry (Talha) bin Umar (al-Qurashi al-Taymi) to the daughter of Shaybah bin Jubair, and I intend for you to be present as well. In those days, Aban, may Allah have mercy on him, was the leader of the pilgrims. And both (Umar bin Ubaidullah and Aban) were in the state of ihram, so Aban bin Uthman refused Umar bin Ubaidullah's (invitation) and said: I heard (my father) Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, say that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The one in ihram should neither marry nor arrange a marriage nor get someone married." Abu al-Hasan (al-Qabisi) said: It is possible that Nabiha heard this from Aban. This is confirmed (and supported) by the narration of others besides Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, and if this were not the case, it is possible that he heard it from the messenger who delivered the message, thus this narration becomes connected with an unknown narrator in the chain, and Allah alone gives success. The ahadith narrated by Nafi' have been completed, and these are seventy-two (72) ahadith.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "None of you should prevent his neighbor from fixing a piece of wood in his wall." (Abdur Rahman bin Hurmuz Al-A'raj) said: Then Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say: What is the reason that I see you turning away from this? By Allah! I will surely throw it between your shoulders, that is, I will make it known among you.

And (Abu Musa) Isa (bin Miskin: the narrator of the book) narrates with the same chain (from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When there are three people, then two of them should not converse secretly, leaving the third one out." 296- وبه: انه قال: كنت انا وعبد الله بن عمر عند دار خالد بن عقبة التى بالسوق، فجاء رجل يريد ان يناجيه وليس مع عبد الله بن عمر احد غيري وغير الرجل الذى يريد ان يناجيه، فدعا عبد الله رجلا آخر حتى كنا اربعة، فقال لي وللرجل الذى دعا: استاخرا شيئا، فإني سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: ”لا يتتناجى اثنان دون واحد.“
And with the same chain (from Abdullah bin Dinar, may Allah have mercy on him), it is narrated that Khalid bin Uqbah’s house, which is near the market, I and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) were present there when a man came and wanted to whisper (speak in secret) to them (Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both), and there was no one with Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) except me and the man who wanted to speak in secret to him. So Abdullah called another man until we became four, then he said to me and the man who had been called,“You two move back a little, because I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say that (when there are three people) two should not whisper to each other excluding the third.”

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah bin Rabi’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that a funeral passed by the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said:“He is either «مستريح» (at peace and comfort) or «مسترح منه» (one from whom people are at peace and comfort).”The Companions asked: O Messenger of Allah! Who is «مستريح» and who is «مستراح منه» ? He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied:“The believing servant attains peace and comfort by moving towards the mercy of Allah from the hardships and difficulties of the world, and from the wicked (sinful) servant, the servants, cities, trees, and animals attain peace and comfort.”
