Makhool says that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Seek the acceptance of supplication at the time when (the armies of Islam and disbelief) are clashing on the battlefield, when the call to establish prayer (iqamah) is being made, and when rain is falling."

Sayyiduna Amr bin Abasah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The night prayer is in sets of two rak‘ahs, and in the last part of the night, supplication is most readily accepted." I asked: Is it obligatory to supplicate in that part? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No, no, (I am saying that) supplication is most readily accepted."

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If anyone passes wind during the prayer, he should go and perform ablution."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: Give me such a command that I may adhere to it. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Know that whenever you prostrate to Allah, He raises you one degree and erases one of your sins."

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) dispatched a (jihad) expedition which obtained abundant spoils and returned very quickly. A man said: O Messenger of Allah! We have not seen any expedition that returned faster or obtained more spoils than this one. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Shall I not inform you of (such an expedition) that returns even faster and obtains more spoils than this? A man who performs ablution at home in a good manner, then goes to the mosque, performs the Fajr prayer, and then remains seated there for the Duha prayer (until he performs that prayer), such a man returns faster and obtains more spoils.”

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever offers the Fajr prayer in congregation, then sits and remembers Allah until the sun rises, then performs two rak‘ahs, he will receive the reward of a complete, complete, and complete Hajj and ‘Umrah."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah, may Allah be pleased with him, that when the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, finished the Fajr prayer, he would remain seated cross-legged in the same prayer place until the sun rose.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The one who frequently repents is the one who guards the Duha prayer, and this is the Salat al-Awwabeen (the prayer of those who repent much)."

Qasim Shaybani says that Sayyiduna Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) saw some people performing the Duha prayer and said: Beware! Indeed, these people know that it is better to perform this prayer at a later time (i.e., after delaying it). Verily, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The prayer of the Awabeen (those who turn to Allah) is when the feet of the young camels begin to burn from the intensity of the heat."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him), the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever offers four rak‘ahs of Duha prayer and four rak‘ahs before Zuhr, a house will be built for him in Paradise."
