It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid and Sayyiduna Abu Basheer Ansari (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was leading the companions in prayer one day in the valley of Batha. A woman wanted to pass in front, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gestured to her to stop. Thus, she stepped back. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) finished the prayer, she passed in front.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was praying at night, and a woman was also performing prayer with him. When he noticed her, he said: "If you wish, you may lie down." She said: "I am still energetic." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "You are not like me; the coolness of my eyes is in the prayer."

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The coolness of my eyes is in the prayer."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him), he states that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“The coolness of my eyes is in the prayer.”

Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had a shirt with floral patterns, which Abu Juham had given to him. It was said to him that this shirt is better than the Anjaniyah shirt. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This was distracting or preoccupying me from prayer."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu’adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) led a long prayer one day. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) finished, we said: O Messenger of Allah! Today you led a very long prayer, (what was the reason?) He (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Today I performed a prayer of fear and hope. I asked Allah Almighty for three things for my Ummah; He granted me two and did not accept one supplication. I asked Him not to impose others as enemies over my Ummah, and He granted me this. (Secondly) I asked Him not to drown my Ummah, and He accepted this supplication as well. And (thirdly) I asked Him to save my Ummah from fighting among themselves, but He did not accept this supplication.”

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "These three rights are obligatory upon every Muslim: to visit the sick, to attend funerals, and when someone who sneezes says «‏‏‏‏ «اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ» , to say to him «يرحمك الله» 'May Allah have mercy on you.'"

Muhammad bin Isma'il says that someone asked Sayyiduna Abdullah Abu Habibah (may Allah be pleased with him): Have you remembered anything from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us in the mosque of Quba. At that time, I was a young boy. I came and sat on his right side, and Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) sat on his left side. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked for a drink, drank some, and gave the rest to me because I was sitting on his right side. I drank that drink. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up, and I saw that he was praying while wearing his shoes.

Sayyiduna Fadala al-Laithi (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) taught me some matters, and among them was this: "Guard the five prayers." I said: At those times I am occupied, so give me such a comprehensive and sufficient instruction that I may continue to act upon it and it suffices me. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Continue to guard the two prayers—that is, the prayer before sunrise and the prayer before sunset."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The reward of the one who performs prayer sitting is half of that of the one who performs prayer standing."
